DIGBAR interiors & architecture

Currently I am in the process of working with DIGBAR on 2 projects in LA area. Deborah and Brian have been very responsive and professional. The architectural/structural plans they have for the one project in Culver City are excellent and great detail. I recommend DIGBAR and I have brought them into one of my projects to collaborate. DIGBAR did the designs for a "scrape and build" remodel in Mar Vista. The design came out great, and Brian and Deb were actively involved at all stages of design and construction.

As a general contractor I am used to seeing the architect at the beginning of the project and then they fade away, seldom being seen. Brian and Deb have been EXTREMELY involved in all aspects of the project making sure it comes out properly. He is a strong advocate for the client and holds our feet to the fire, but when we all step back and look at the finished product, it is a work of art. They provide us (the contractor) with as many details as we need and give the client well thought out design advice and samples. They handhold the clients so there is no apprehension making decisions. You won't go wrong working with Digbar.

Brian of DIGBAR is designing a small lot subdivision project for my husband and I. Right now he just finished the schematic design. We like the way he related to us. He explained the process and the regulations in detail and always listen to our needs and desires.

I hired Digbar for our complete bathroom remodel and couldn't have been happier! I was overwhelmed and confused about what to do, until I hired them to help make my bathroom dreams come true. Deborah, the designer, was completely professional, talented, creative, patient and reasonable...she was fabulous! She really learned what my tastes were and helped to design a bathroom that I would love and within my budget. She prevented me from making bathroom remodel "mistakes", which I would have, if I hadn't hired Digbar. She helped design everything from floor to ceiling, tile to paint, tub to sink to toilet and all the details in between. She had wonderful ideas and really helped create my perfect bathroom! DIGBAR was exactly the team we needed to bring some stylish functionality to our modern home! Deborah was great to work with - professional, resourceful and reasonably-priced. She helped us convert our stand-alone garage into a cool rec-room with new lighting and flooring. DIGBAR also designed and coordinated the build, finishing and install of beautiful built-in cabinets and shelves in our main living room. They look amazing, provide much needed storage and are truly a focal point of the room. Deborah also guided us in selecting attractive window treatments and quality rugs throughout the home. It was so helpful to have her coordinate deliveries and oversee installations as well. DIGBAR is truly the whole package!

We are using DIGBAR to help us with a significant expansion and remodel of our home, and they have been great to work with! When we hired DIGBAR (Brian and Deborah) to design our house, we had no idea how great it would turn out! They paid so much attention to getting to know us and figuring out what would work best for us. We could not be happier that we used DigBar on our recent home remodel. This was our first remodel and we were on the fence as to whether we should hire a designer, but after working with Deb/DigBar I don’t know how we could have done any of this without them. Deb’s attention to detail is top notch. She forced us to think outside of the box and her unique style allowed us to get away from the cookie cutter home designs that are so common these days. The other aspect that we were incredibly pleased with was her follow up throughout the process. Brian and Deb expertly expanded and rejuvenated a house constructed in 1954 into a wonderful contemporary home. They did a great job of matching the new design to the land constraints, integrating the interior and exterior, and working with the construction team to ensure that the finished product was consistent with the design vision. They also worked with us on all interior finishes, as well as selection of furniture and the creation of exterior hardscape and landscape. In short, Brian an Deb created a structure that "wows", and a home that is both warm and very functional.

I would highly recommend Digbar. They worked with my schedule, my esthetic, and my budget. They were very understanding of my needs and limitations even though they have done much larger projects. This made my experience comfortable and fun. I also love their esthetic! It is sophisticated but not predictable or boring and can even be whimsical!

Brian was extremely knowledgable, patient and supportive of our creativity during our home remodel. He served as a talented and dedicated architect helping us realize our vision for our home remodel, but he also assisted us immensely with the process of attaining building permits and other bureaucratic red tape, helped us negotiate with contractors and make informed decisions about our remodel. We would hire him again with pleasure.
