Working with BDS has been the best experience we have had with a contractor (we have built two homes, built an addition, and renovated two times prior with others.) BDS communicated clearly and thoroughly at each step. We were away but the communication via call, text, email, build app and FaceTime was impeccable and easy. They worked with us to enclose a vaulted ceiling, install a light for that dining area and then create a larger master bath and closet en suite upstairs. They guided with selections of light, plumbing, hardware, flooring, cabinets and closets. They allowed us to choose our look. Bryan checked the site frequently and John was there every day. They kept the site neat and safe during COVID-19 too. All the subcontractors were very respectful towards our family when we were there and to our neighbors. I cannot say enough great things about the high quality and professionalism at BDS; a true joy to work with.

Our experience with a bathroom remodel through BDS was exceptional in every way! We are thrilled with the results and every encounter was a class act. We were amazed by the cleanup done after every step, and the consideration always given by the workers when we were at home. For us, the best part was the design help as we are not very creative and not good at picking colors, styles, etc. The resulting bathroom is perfect! We will use BDS again for future work needed in the house--they are terrific.

BDS completed extensive renovations to our house, including a new kitchen, new master bath, new flooring throughout and paint. We are thrilled with the results! Bryan and his team were professional and easy to work with. They developed a comprehensive plan, effectively managed the project within time and budget constraints, and exhibited excellent communication throughout the project. We highly recommend BDS for your home renovations.

In May 2019 I sought your help for replacing our bathroom shower door. I felt you should know that your recommendation "WORD" meant a lot to us. I will recommend and use your company in the future. Thank you.

We were extremely happy with our entire project with BDS from start to finish. They designed a very creative solution to reinforce a structural beam in our main living space. BDS created a well thought-out construction plan, communicated it well, and met their proposed timeline. There were no cost overruns and minimal impact on surrounding rooms. We would definitely use them again for other projects and would highly recommend them to friends (in fact already have). Their work was superb and truly transformed the space. It was everything we could have hoped for in the project.

We moved into our current house 8 years before hiring BDS, and thought a lot about what we would want to change and shape in the space. Throughout the remodel project, Bryan and the team helped us to make those thoughts into reality. We debated for a long time whether we would stay in this house or move - and now we're thrilled to be here. BDS truly made our house into our forever home.

It was a pleasure working with Bryan and everyone at BDS. We replaced all trim and doors, stained the floor, replaced the stairway, replaced carpet with hardwood, painted all rooms, remodeled the laundry room, hall bath and pantry. The entire house got a face lift. The initial contact was prompt and all presentations and paperwork was detailed and professional. I really appreciated having the detailed calendar to track the daily activities. Susan, the designer, helped with decision making and style choices and really moved the project along. The sub-contractors were all good. Any small issues we had were resolved quickly. I enjoyed working with Bryan, would use him again and would recommend him to others.

BDS did an extensive and complete remodel to our kitchen. From the beginning stages of the project, through design and the beautiful finish BDS was professional, conscientious and attentive. Bryan Slowick the owner of the company pays attention to every little detail and we appreciated that. It has now been one year and we are still in love with our kitchen. I highly recommend BDS for every project no matter how small or large.

BDS Construction offers a very comprehensive design/build package for a discriminating client base in Chicago's North Shore area and beyond. The professionals at BDS understand the design process from an aesthetic point of view - but being builders, their designs are always underpinned with an understanding of the structural aspects of a project - so that a client never receives merely a "pretty picture" ... that cannot actually be built in the real-world. After the BDS design team has wowed you, their construction division provides a fit & finish that is second to none. Your remodel or addition will merge so seamlessly into the former structure, that to the passerby - it will seem as though it has always been there.

B.D.S. Construction is unique in that they treat every project with a superior level of craftsmanship and customer service while maintaining a respect for the Client's budget and timeline.

We first discovered BDS Construction in 2013 when we had a cracked pipe in our rental home. We loved the work they did and how they cleaned up after completion. Their Operations Manager and staff were very informative and courteous. So I decided to hire them with our personal home where we converted a room into a dance studio. The work was done within a very reasonable time frame, and again, they cleaned up every day after they were done for the day and once they completed the job, it was as if we never had any construction in the basement or anywhere in our home. They always provide an update to the progress of the job and thoroughly explain was done for that day. I highly recommend BDS Construction.
