Beckenstein Fabric and Interiors

Worst place ever! I went to the store in 20th St. Chelsea, NY. Everything I asked them to do had problems. If they were not the appropriate measurements, it was the finishes or the final design. It took them months to deliver two chairs. I would never recommend them to anyone!

I'm so thrilled to write this review as I never write reviews , but Beckenstein Fabric deserve an incredible review. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! John Karantonis, Showroom manager personally took care of me and he went far beyond standard customer service to ensure a smooth and extremely happy experience. I had a couch and 2 club chairs that needed some serious re-upholstering- I purchased the fabric from them and oh boy do they have an arsenal of fabrics... Everything under the sun - And John was incredibly helpful in helping choose the best fabric for my project- always unbiased- he helped me choose the best for my project that not only tested for excellent performance but was also affordable. Even when I kept leaning for the most expensive - he explained why it was not the best choice or necessary. The next part was the actual re-upholtering- when I say they take care of everything they really do - They picked up and delivered the sofas and club chairs and when they came back I seriously was so impressed with the workmanship that I had to call John personally to thank him a million times for the beautiful work, and excellent service- Believe me I own my own company and I know how important to feel taken care off and John really made this experience that I was afraid of and took me a year to decide to do and made it seem like a breeze. I LOVE my BRAND new couch and club chairs- They are even more comfortable then when i purchased them !!!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Beckenstein Fabric and make sure you reach out to John!!!!! PS sorry for the long writing, but i just hope that any customer looking to redo their furniture will help them decide which vendor to go with by reading this message. sabine

I must say that Garry Greenberg really stood behind the curtains they installed for me. He redid them at his expense to make them perfect and worked with my hectic schedule to have them taken down during off-times and put back on before I got back into town. They were very trustworthy and I highly recommend using them. These were custom noise-reducing blackout motorized curtains for 2 full walls of glass on a floor-through penthouse.

There are so many choices today that starting your home décor project can take on a life of its own. At Beckenstein's, I explained what I wanted and where I had no clue as to how to begin to achieve my goal. They made the process seamless. Between window treatments, fabric selection and how to lay out my furniture design; within a short period of time, my home came to life! What a pleasure it was to deal with them. Elisa F.
