In 2017, I went through a re-birth, and Michael & Evan were like my home decor OBGYNs. Emerging from a failed marriage into bachelorhood, I found myself in a swanky new condo with a bongo drum as my sole piece of furniture. When I first walked into Beige, Michael and Evan welcomed me with their warmth & humour, and immediately inspired me with their passion for style, and genuine interest in helping me furnish my new home. Moreover, they gave me a safe place to express my own style, and patiently shepherded me through a holistic and spiritually-enriching process of building MY new home -- piece by piece. I never expected the process of decorating a home to be so much fun, or so fulfilling. Over the course of months, I would look forward to each and every visit to Beige. Michael and Evan are special gentlemen, and beyond their respective talents and consummate professionalism, I am now fortunate to call them friends. Having just moved from an apartment to a 4 bedroom house, we desperately needed some help added pieces to our new home. From the start, Michael and Evan were just as excited as we were to get the project rolling and they did not disappoint. After a home visit, they quickly put together items for us and we could tell they really listened to what our vision was. They always answered quickly to our e-mails or calls whenever we had questions or concerns. We are so happy to have worked with both of them and look forward to more projects in the future.

During a recent renovation of our house, we had the opportunity to work closely with both Michael and Evan. Work included selecting complete furnishings for two bedrooms, living room, dining room and hallway. Michael and Evan provided excellent advice and guidance throughout the process, and were always available to answer all our questions in a timely fashion. I have had the pleasure of having Michael and Evan consult on my project. My 2 bed, 2 bath apartment needed warmth and finishing touches and within a reasonable amount of time I had a beautifully painted interior with a new LR rug (that I will never tire of), an upholstered headboard and new lighting in the bathrooms. Also the Beige store is a delightful place to browse and is always boasting new merchandise. What a wonderful experience it was to have consulted them! Highly recommend this dynamic duo!

I have had the privilege of working with Michael and Evan over the past year to redecorate our home. This has been an incredible experience. Micheal has been invaluable to me for all the decorating and esthetic decisions for my house for the last 7 years. We started working together after I completely renovated our house in Westmount (built in 1890). We have worked on many small and large projects together, from choosing the different white colours for the walls and the custom distressed furniture, choosing wallpaper (harder than it sounds), designing custom furniture for odd space that became a breakfast nook, furnishing the master bedroom and dining room, pulling together a room of miscellaneous antiques, and the most recent project was modernizing and incorporating heirlooms in our living room. I am a tax lawyer and am admittedly a difficult client (I have limited time but am very detail oriented and like to be in control). Micheal is the best because he is very intelligent, he fully understands my personal esthetics and practical considerations, and he understands getting maximum Value (it is much harder to find nice things at a reasonable price, he knows when it's worth spending more, when it is not). He is efficient and patient and e.g. will happily go back to get more samples multiple times because he knows I need to feel that the sample we picked is the optimum one. I used to do all the decorating myself, because I am type A but he narrows down the selection for me and has all the sources at his fingertip. He delivers A+ service, he has A+ taste, personality and judgment, him and his team are great at time and budget management. After each project I am always cinfident that that got we made the optimum best choices in terms of style and value, and that is 95% attributable to Michael - only because Micheal always insist that I share in the project success too.

We have been shopping at beige since 2007 and through the years have purchased some of our most beloved pieces from Michael and the team at beige. Michael is a genius when it comes to finding just the perfect item - whatever we may be looking for. Thanks to the incredible talent and expertise at beige we have found lighting, sofas, dining room table and chairs, custom blinds, unique decor items and soon all of our home office furniture! In addition, Michael has provided the best tips on paint colour and other interior design expertise. Also, the team will search for very specific needs (size, colour, look, etc) and the prices are so reasonable for the high touch service and high quality items. We are grateful to have beige as the place to go to fill our home decor needs and with a service level that is knowledgeable, passionate and a lot of fun! We worked with Michael to decorate/design and purchase furniture for our home (featured in multiple photo shoots and magazines). We loved working with Michael for his amazing suggestions, his ability to understand what we wanted and were looking for as well him and the entire Beige team being so fun to work with. We would send Michael emails of what we were looking for and he had the ability to source everything we wanted and always at the best price. He was great in suggesting fabrics for ottomans, curtains, banquets, cushions, beds, etc! He helped us choose paint colors for the house, amazing rugs and more. Our furniture is just gorgeous! Everything we purchased from him from the large items, the lamps, to the little touches that just helped make our house into the gorgeous home it is today.
