We had granite, backslash, and new wood floors done by Benson Stone. The people in the store are quite helpful, but the management and owners care only about profit. I paid extra for a subfloor to be installed, as the installer recommended. Nothing else was recommended. But after the new subfloor and wood floor installation, there is a a rather large area that is bowed. Mr. Benson called me after one of his installers looked at it and determined it was not installed correctly, and he said that he would NOT correct the problem because it would cost him $7000. Granite countertops were measured incorrectly and had to be redone. Now the pattern does not flow. Backsplash had to be done twice. I regret going with Benson Stone. The management and owners are dishonest.

They have really nice furniture, so it's a shame their customer service is one of the worst I've ever experienced. Lord help you if something goes wrong. We recieved a damaged bed that they said they would replace, and then we spent over 3 months emailing and calling every week for updates and were given excuse after excuse. Their "customer service specialist," a laughable title after what we have gone through, never reached out to us throughout this process without us initiating the conversation. I finally gave up trying because it wasn't worth my time and the stress anymore. I will never go back.

After shopping around we ended up using Benson Stone to remodel out kitchen and it was a wise choice. There were multiple lines of cabinets to choose from and and endless varieties of tiles, granite and lighting. Erin worked with us to ensure we got a kitchen we loved. We went from a basic kitchen to a transitional kitchen with gorgeous gray cabinets. I would not hesitate to use Benson Stone again.

Benson Stone carries the finest quality furniture in the Northern Illinois area. I was shopping for various pieces of furniture for my new home and Donna was very helpful in assisting me with my selections. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the prices and selections are great! Benson stone has everything one would need to complete your beautiful home! I would also like to mention the delivery guys are awesome, they are very careful when delivering your new furniture. Oh, and before you leave stop at the Hearthrock Cafe for lunch. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for!

Benson Stone is a jewel in Rockford, IL. Set inside of a 100 year old furniture store, the furniture and accessories that this store offers are wonderful. I love to shop there. The furniture is tastefully displayed. We used Benson Stone to build a fireplace for our townhome and loved how it turned out.

I found the fireplace i wanted at Benson Stone Co. It was a Kingsman SeeThru Fireplace. I had to talk to Jessica Schultz several times during the planning and also during the installation. She sent detailed instructions which when followed was great. The local fireplace people didn't follow those instructions but finally the 'tile" man did and everything went together beautifully. We replaced the old traditional fireplace/mantle with a freestanding SeeThru fireplace. It is absolutely beautiful and appreciate Benson for offering a different feature for our unusual fireplace design.

We had total kitchen makeover. The options for cabinetry, counters, stone back splash were numerous and all beautiful. We had a custom island made and on delivery to the store it was damaged. Benson's had a new one immediately made and shipped to our home. The kitchen exceeded our dreams and we love to spend time there.

Commented: BathroomI do not have the dimensions of the bathroom. It is fairly large, but I am sure that the wide angle lens and the mirrors make it look even larger. It does have both a tub and walk-in shower.
