Shaun is uniquely talented. He elevates "faux finishing" to several levels higher in terms of sophistication because of his skills. I was most impressed when I went to Bravura's charming studio where there was a painted floor that just blew me away. It looked exactly like tile, but yet had the patina and charm of an artist's hand in the detailed application. It was completely awe inspiring. I brought Bravura in to my Traditional Foursquare project to create a deep red wall finish for a tiny entry vestibule to be an intimate and yet dramatic segue to a large foyer. I showed Shaun a wall covering sample that I had been holding on to for over a decade because it had a richness and depth to the red color that was a rare find. He matched it exactly. Give this man anything to match and he will delight you with his ability and artistry. I hope to work with him on many projects to come.

Karen and Shaun are amazingly talented and so easy to work with. They have done many projects for me, big and small. All projects were done to perfection and on time. Some of the projects were ideas I had and they were somehow able to take my description of what I wanted and make it better than I envisioned.

Brought a unique touch to our vintage home. It's the thing everyone compliments when they come visit. Most importantly, Shawn and Karen are wonderful to work with.

Working with Shaun (and his wife, Karen) has been an absolute pleasure! During tough contuction times, dealing with them has been like a breath of fresh air! This is the second time we have worked with Sean & Karen and we could not be happier with the results. They are professional, timely with their communication and on-budget. Sean recently re-finished our fireplace mantel and cabinets giving our family room a completely new look. He is truly a master craftsman.

We hired Shaun and Bravura Finishes to Venetian Plaster our fireplace above the mantel. Shaun is professional, pleasant and a talented artist. We could not be more pleased with the outcome of this project.

Provided custom designs for fireplace surround, kitchen cabinets, and two other areas. Created custom floorcloths for kitchen and a long hallway. Such a pleasure to work with both Karen and Shaun.

Shaun did a fabulous job on an accent wall in my dining room and a niche over my fireplace. Both Karen and Shaun were delightful to work with. I was so happy when I discovered their work - it was exactly what I was looking for to add some pizzazz to my home. Karen first came to my home and we discussed some options, next I went to their showroom in Lake Oswego. I loved all of their work and had trouble narrowing down my choices. We decided to have some samples made so that I could see how my favorite designs would look with the colors that I liked. The samples were gorgeous. Shaun was able to get the job done in two days, he kept everything neat and clean, and he got along great with my two dogs. I can't wait to have them do another project for me.

Shaun did a wonderful job, a Venetian plaster design on our powder room walls. We would definitely use Shaun again.

Otis Construction has worked with Bravura Finishes since 2000, when Shaun painted the Living Room of a large remodel project for us. In a field of heavy-handed decorative painters at the time, Shaun was a singular and subtle talent. I recently visited that project, and his work looks as fresh as it did when it was done - and the client is still just as pleased. Bravura continues to be among our favorite subcontractors. Their expertise is unrivaled and they understand perfectly how to help our clients and their interior designers realize their visions, which always reflects well on us. Our project started in Shaun and Karen's delightful cottage office, admiring and making selections from hundreds of special finish samples that could be applied in my home. I chose several and Shaun created samples in my colors for my approval. Then it was time to begin. Shaun worked his artistic magic on four natural wood ceilings and wood cabinetry in three areas of the house. He also applied a gorgeous enhanced glazing to my kitchen, family room, and great room cabinets. He textured my range hood and finished it with a raised stenciled coat of arms. In my powder room he textured, painted, stenciled, and glazed the walls. They are stunning. It was such a pleasure to work with Bravura. I highly recommend them!
