We believe your home should reflect your story and your dreams. Our team specializes in designing custom home plans to match your personality and lifestyle. As a woman-owned plan design firm, we desire to be experts at listening. We work one-on-one with you, taking the time to help you discover your style and refine your ideas. Our versatile and talented team has designed homes in nearly every style, creating stunning homes all across north Texas. Aesthetic is essential, but coming from a background in space planning we are skilled at helping you think through usage and function as well, making our plans outstanding in their livability. We then translate all this into complete construction documents for your builder. Our plans are created by a registered interior designer, subject to the rules and regulations of the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners. We are an independent design firm, not affiliated with any one builder, which keeps YOU in control of the process as you take your plans to builders to bid out. We work with builders and contractors daily and understand what they require to get the job done right the first time. We will also guide you toward the most thoughtful and efficient use of your resources and budget, to ensure your project meets your expectations. Whether you are planning to remodel or build a new construction, we are dedicated to working with you to develop and implement a design solution that meets your needs and brings your dreams to life.

The Bohannon team prepared our architectural plan for a 2nd floor addition, and we are thrilled with how it turned out. The first version of the plan met all our goals (both required and nice to have), and did so in a way that was creative (in figuring out where to put the staircase), thoughtful as to how the space was going to be used and thinking through how the most cost effective way of building the addition. We came back to Wendy, Sarah and Ashley with some changes to the project plan (how to add in a sauna room) and they figured out a way to make it all work. We are currently in the process of building the addition, and plan to use the Bohannon team to help with finishes once we get to that stage. We interviewed two other architects and can confidently say that we made the right choice.

My wife and I worked with the Bohannon Design Team to create house plans for the house we wanted to build on some land we had recently purchased. The entire process, from initial contact to finished plans, could not have been better. From scheduling, to feedback, to status meetings, their communication was fantastic. And our final plans: so beautiful! The house reflects our personality, has all the things we were hoping it would and many other thoughtful design choices suggested by our designer. We could not be happier with the final product and would highly recommend Bohannon Design to anyone looking to design house plans.

The single best decision we made when facing a major renovation of a house we'd just bought, was to hire Bohannon Design Team. The house had a very weird (an understatement) layout and was closed off and did not at all fit into the way we live. We worked with Sarah Starnes and the design team, and will end up with a house that very much suits our lifestyle. Everyone at Bohannon was endlessly patient about doing adjustments to the original design until we got it just right. We were always made to feel that getting it perfect for us was the ultimate goal. It was a pleasure working with Sarah and Wendy and I would highly recommend Bohannon.

We hired the Bohannon Design Team to design our new home and could not have imagined the process any better. Sarah and Wendy were attentive, flexible and incredibly creative with including our needs and wants into the design. Anytime we had an ask of them, the answer was always “yes” followed with multiple options for how to achieve what we wanted. Ultimately, every single thing we threw at them they somehow managed to incorporate into this perfect floor plan. Even after the design was finalized, the team was more than happy to answer follow up questions, address issues and provide guidance on design/aesthetics. We simply couldn’t be happier with their work and don’t feel that anyone else could have exceeded our expectations like they did. Would 100% recommend to anyone and we have. Our parents are currently using the Bohannon Design Team for their new home and are also very impressed by their service thus far.
