Brooke has helped us through the last year designing our new home in the Ramble, Asheville, NC. We built an Arts and Crafts custom home with Jade Builders, Michael McDonough, Architect. She guided us through the maze of lighting, tile, paint, wall paper, cabinetry, rugs and furniture. Brooke knows the finest and most talented artisans in Asheville. She spent valuable time helping us choose fabric patterns, wood stains, paint colors, fixtures and much, much, more. One of the best things about Brooke is her perceptive eye. She has an excellent sense of color, patterns, and coordination. But what makes Brooke truly stellar is how easy it is to get along with her. We've met with many craftsmen and sales people and she always say's the right thing as she helps us navigate and balance expensive items with less expensive items, keeping us within our budget. She keeps meticulous notes and remembers every detail. We love, love our new home so much and we love, love Brooke.

Building a home from the ground up is a daunting task; but, Brooke made the process so much easier. Her eye for design is impeccable. Once she understood our style preferences, she provided options for everything including exterior stains, flooring, tile, cabinets, lighting, paint colors, furniture and much more. She certainly simplified our decision-making processes; and, we couldn't be happier with the final results.

I cannot recommend Brooke highly enough. She was the mastermind behind our entire process, from start to finish. And the final product is perfect. She met with every person who walked into our home, analyzing every detail to ensure there were no mistakes. Her knowledge of the entire building/renovation industry and design skills/background far surpasses anyone else with whom I've ever worked. This is more than a job for Brooke; she is truly passionate about creating beautiful living spaces. My husband and I both said multiple times, "We could never have done this without her. She is worth every penny we are spending and more." I wish I could calculate the amount of time, money and stress she saved us.

I had a great time working with Brooke on our home remodel. She is incredible with design and very creative! The ouside of our house had a facelift that added much needed dimension. The main living areas - kitchen, living room, and dining room no longer resemble the same house! Everything from placing the island with sink and light fixtures to selecting the color of the refinished floors was perfect. We couldn’t be happier with the colors on the walls and the selection/placement of the new furniture. Our home is now beautiful and comfortable! Brooke repurposed items to other areas of the house and when possible definitely gave options to cut costs. She was worth her weight in gold! I cannot wait to have her back to add some final touches and work on the bedrooms!

At the cost of possibly sounding dramatic, I could not live without Brooke Kern Interior Design. I live in two cities and Brooke and her team have been able to move projects at my house in Asheville forward without interruption due to my work/travel schedule. I had been through some difficult experiences working with designers and contractors in the past. Not this time! She handles projects professionally and flawlessly deals with all the stress that comes with major house renovations - not to forget her impeccable taste and eye toward cost effectiveness. When presented with a challenge, the team takes a very calculated approach to include drawings, visuals and options. She ensures her amazing designs balance cost, timelines and the longevity of your investment to increase property value.
