Capital Construction built a beautiful spec house in Bouldin Creek that we were lucky enough to acquire in 2019. It was not your normal spec home as it had a distinct point of view in terms of interior design selections, using upgraded lighting fixtures and hardware, beautiful colors, distressed bricks, and pretty tiles. We worked with Kelly to make some modifications before moving in, and he and his team were responsive, agreeable, and helpful. The construction of the home was solid. We never had a single issue with any of the systems.

Capital Construction just completed a major remodel for us and we couldn't be happier with both their craftsmanship and the experience of working with them.. They did a gut & redo of the kitchen in our 1920s house, added a pool, and built a carport with pool bath and storage room. Our architect knew that our priority was top-quality work so we asked him to recommend contractors, and he gave us Capital Construction based upon his previous experiences on project with them. We met with several other contractors too and CapCon was the clear choice. One thing that impresses us now that we're finished was CapCon's commitment to ensuring quality down to the tiniest detail. Our project manager was a perfectionist who would recognize little issues we hadn't even noticed and have them fixed. Every project has unexpected hiccups, especially when working on a 100 year old house, but in the few cases where we brought something to their attention, CapCon took care of it promptly. Our project manager was amazing - always available, kept a close eye on all work, and made sure we were happy.

Working with Capital Construction I would have to say would be their level of workmanship and follow up that stood out to me during our remodel, but especially working with Matt (Capital Super) and his ability to communicate when I had questions, I really appreciated Matt for going the distance… There was one instance where it was raining heavily late one evening as we were transitioning from a standard roof to a metal roof and unfortunately this resulted in several leaks and when I called Capital for assistance, both Kelly and Ethan came to our house bringing with them, all the items necessary to help in our time of need…therefore I would recommend Capital Construction to others! -Beth Walker

The overall experience working with Kelly Wunsch (Partner) with Capital Construction was really good and we are very happy with the end result…not only did Kelly go above and beyond on our project but his input was invaluable, he really made the house a better design in the end, which exceeded our expectations! Another benefit to working with Kelly is that he stayed on top of the construction process and communicated with us constantly, which again, we really appreciated and ultimately made the entire experience so much better.

I started working with Kelly during the design phase. The contract we agreed to was a cost reimbursable, percentage fee and milestone payment schedule based on an estimate prior to construction. In the end the build cost was within 5% of the initial estimate. I have built 3 homes and several home upgrades. A key to any of these is the contractor visiting the job every day to check on progress and any issue either subs or the design. Kelly or his superintendent was at the job site every day. No matter how good the design or the subcontractors there will always be mistakes. A good contractor identifies the errors and fixes them before the next step otherwise they become part of the finished project. Kelly stayed on top of these issues and got them fixed. Overall I was very pleased with the job .

We have worked with Capital Construction on multiple projects. Not only are they 'can-do', but they are thoughtful about budget and schedule every step of the way, which many contractors forget in the level of work we get to do with our clientele. And, on top of that, they have been able to execute some very sophisticated details which are the trademark behind what we do. We had a great experience working with CapCon on our home remodel, even though we started our remodel during the height of COVID—a very challenging time to start a large scale remodel like ours. There were some unexpected issues along the way, but Ethan, Kelly and the CapCon team handled them with professionalism but more importantly - transparency. They worked closely with us and our architect to find solutions quickly, and communication was always clear and responsive. The quality of their work speaks for itself, we are over 3 years post remodel and have really benefited from choosing a quality builder over others that cut corners. We would highly recommend them to anyone considering a remodel or new build, they do quality work and stand by it.

We began designing our custom home just weeks into COVID, uncertain about how the pandemic would unfold. Unfortunately, communication and response time issues with our original builder forced us to make a change, setting us back and requiring us to quickly find a replacement. After a thorough search, we chose Capital Construction. Capcon jumped in and got everything moving again, navigating the challenges of building during COVID—fluctuating material and labor costs, unexpected delays, and shifting circumstances. Through it all, their communication was excellent. They kept us updated, worked with us on managing rising costs, and were flexible when adjustments were needed. They also came up with creative ways to ensure we got the most value out of our budget. What stood out most was their genuine care for craftsmanship. They take pride in their work, and their professionalism made the process much smoother than we expected. We're happy with our home and appreciate the effort they put into delivering a quality result.

My wife and I worked with Ethan Jones of Capital Construction Company to build our dream art studio, photography darkroom, and guest house - lovingly coined “Arthaus”. Our project required a lot of custom needs and Ethan was there every step of the way with solutions. His team delivered us an on budget/on time high quality architectural dream space.
