We remodeled a ranch built in 1959, and hired Carol to draw the new master suite: bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet. She was a delight to work with, flexible and creative. I would use her again without hesitation.

We hired Morotti Design to design our house and also to decorate the interior. We are extremely pleased with the unique design, the change of levels, large entryway, arched transitions, spiral staircase, and curved walls. We are constantly receiving compliments on the house's open design and choice of furniture that Morotti Design helped pick out. The wooded lot was used in the design to help with keeping the house cooler in the summer.

Carol Morotti was given the challenge of redesigning our rear addition. Our home is a 1880's "shot-gun" styled bungalow in an older section of Downtown Indianapolis. Our house had a rear addition from an original rear porch- built on a slab foundation, with a shed roof, that had been enclosed. It needed to be replaced and was structurally pulling away from the house. We asked Carol to create a design that would give the appearance that the addition was an original part of the house, and have a look from an earlier era., Carol not only created a unique roofline design, but agreed to work with the remodeling contractor, to ensure that the specifications would match her design concept. The project was completed in 3 months and also came in "on- budget" . The contractor we used was a family friend... And to complete a project, as envisioned, and still keep your friends, was indeed another bonus of the project. Respectfully submitted, Joe & Diane Giacoletti

Thank you, Jessica. This driveway ended in stairway to the front door. There was a retaining wall that was heaving out so we demoed the whole thing and created wide steps that acted as gateway with plants lining the stair and also acted as the new retaining wall. Very elegant entrance.

Carol Morotti is a gifted artist and architect. She has the most incredible vision. Carol can walk into any room and see what it COULD be. Five years ago I purchased four paintings from her. They are beautiful!! Mustard yellow, red, and black which I have hanging in my living room. The paintings are even hand framed and just gorgeous. If I could upload pictures of the paintings I would. You will be VERY pleased if you hire Carol for any design work. She is talented, bright, a visionary, reasonable to hire, and extremely easy to work with!

I've known Carol for a long time, so last year when I was taking my new purchase down-sized home down to the studs, I thought of her for advice on a budget friendly but beautiful kitchen remodel. She was so good--choosing specifics to fit my dreamy ideas, and adding her artistic, professional touch and advice. She's a talented woman. I'm so glad she could work with me on this project. I wish I had photos at my fingertips to add to this review, but I don't.

It was so fun working with Barb. We had not seen one another in years her project was a great excuse to catch up on our lives.
The design scheme was challenging because she wanted the kitchen to open up into both the dining (a space that previously served as a family room) and the living space on either side. By creating a graceful large opening between the kitchen and living room and using an island as transition, we accomplished the living room kitchen piece. For the dining/kitchen we enlarged and opened the doorway to the ceiling and let base kitchen cabinets from the kitchen move around the corner and into the dining space. The counter acts as buffet to the large windowed dining space that acts as hub for her large family gatherings. We also found a more appropriate place for the refrigerator which was in an awkward space near the new dining room.
The spaces now move gracefully into one another allowing the connectedness that Barb wanted to achieve.
We have a date set to get some photos.
