Carlos Forteza managed the installation of five double-pane windows for the initial project and then followed with the installation of a double-pane back door system. At first Carlos explained in great detail the different types and styles of windows ( wood frame, vinyl, single hung, double hung, side wise opening, etc). Then after determining the type of window to purchase he personally measured the dimensions of each of the five windows. He measured each of the windows again, this time with the help of his carpenter. Two of the side-by-side windows were to be combined into a single bay-window; so, many verification of the dimensions were repeated there. Installation of the windows was very precise due to his measurements. Some others would have used molding to hide any imperfections of fit; but Carlos' windows were fitted without fault. We are very satisfied with the newly installed windows. The door had the same treatment from Carlos. Attention to detail was again shown by Carlos before and after the ordering and installation of the door. Carlos showed his professional attitude at all times; and was a good listener and provider of ideas and suggestions.

My wife and I purchased our first home built by Carlos. We've lived over 10 years in the house and it has held up beautifully, and still looks new! We constantly get compliments from guests and even strangers walking by the house. Carlos was also great in terms of being available to help explain how certain systems worked or should be cared for, long after the sale even though he was under no obligation. I've recommended him to numerous friends over the years who also have had nothing but good experiences.

Carlos Forteza is a wonderful contractor. He is very responsive, careful and always delivers what he promises--on time and on budget. I am a 29-year old young professional who has recently worked with CC Forteza and Associates on an extensive remodeling job on my newly purchased condo in west LA, and I am very pleased to write this recommendation on behalf of Carlos. First of all, Carlos is a versatile and creative designer. During the remodeling, he listened to my visions, and incorporated his own experience and professional knowledge into the design to meet all my demands. He guided me through every single step of creating the personalized dream home for myself. He made sure everything was professionally finished with all my personal touches and preferences. Second, every homeowner wants things to be perfect for their home, and I told Carlos upfront that I am a very picky client and hard to please. However, Carlos has managed to exceed my expectations. He himself is an absolutely detail-oriented and meticulous perfectionist. For instance, since I wanted a contemporary design for my fireplace, Carlos and I have exchanged at least 20 different designs to eventually find that one design that I am happy with. Third, Carlos always tries to find the best deal on the materials for his clients. We sought products and compared prices from regular hardware stores to online vendors, and even Craiglist. Carlos would look for every opportunity for his client in lowering the costs and saving money for more important items. Lastly, Carlos is very transparent and open about the work progress and expense report. Since I have a full-time job, I couldn’t go to the job site at regular working hours. However, Carlos made it easy for me to monitor the construction work remotely via email or phone. I was pleased with the length of the construction and the total amount I spent. Overall, hiring CC Forteza and Associates is the best decision I can ever make for remodeling my condo, and it has been a real pleasure to work with Carlos. He is not only an experienced, brilliant, and responsible contractor/designer, but also a genuine, honest, and heart-warming friend.
