Thank you for those kind words.

This project was built a few years back, I believe around 2016 and all these materials are natural stones. The walls are 3x12 Carrara marble and the floor is 12X12 Thasos, but you can also use Carrara marble if the budget is prohibitive.

However, these days - I don't use any natural stone anymore due to cost and maintenance.

Also, there are so many porcelain tiles now that look so much like natural stone with no maintenance and lower price.

CC: you seem to take great pains to utilize space. I hope it’s Ok to ask: when we install this vanity do you think it would be OK to install it flush against the left wall or should we leave some space (which would probably be 1.5 inches). I’m thinking flush?

Your vanity has a "furniture" toe-kick so if you ask my opinion, it should be installed floating and not flushed to the left wall - it was meant to stand on its own like a piece of furniture - especially with that kind of vanity sink. However, if space is tight, then I guess it should also be OK.

If space is tight, I wouldn't use that kind of sink/vanity because you won't have enough space for a countertop. Though the sink is nice and big - it's not really very functional.

Another thing to consider is the function of this bathroom. If it's a powder room, then it should be OK - but if it's an actual bathroom that you or someone will be using on a daily basis - then where do you place all your other stuff with no countertop space?
