Chr DAUER Architects

Christian Dauer is a pleasure to work with for his well-defined process and clear documentation. He manages excellent communication among the team and is very responsive when there are problems to solve. Clients appreciate his creative solutions and high quality design, and we look forward to the opportunity to work together on many future projects.

I was lead to Christian Dauer's work originally through Design Public's Hatch blog and loved every photo featured. I live in DC and Chr Dauer Architects is in San Francisco, so I simply inquired to find out if Christian knew anybody in the DC area who had a similar style. Accessable modern style is hard to come by in the DC area. I had not even considered the possibility of hiring Chr Dauer Architects, but Christian made himself thoroughly available (over the holidays, no less, when I was also available) and spent a significant amount of time discussing design ideas and taking measurements for a house addition/renovation. We went through a full design process and I was thoroughly happy with the work done.
