Chris created the most beautiful and functional standing desk for us. It's sleek and stunning. We couldn't be more pleased. In addition to being an excellent craftsman, Chris is such a nice guy that's so easy to work with.

It is not easy to describe how pleased I am with the dining table Chris built without it sounding hyperbolic. When we started the process, all we had were series of pictures for a dining table. Really, it was just a notion of what we wanted. After taking a look, Chris guided us through what was possible within our specs, aesthetic and budget. When we realized an issue about mid-way through, Chris was able to make a minor adjustment in order to make the table work. Then we threw a curve, we decided at the last minute we needed detachable legs. Chris accommodated this without hesitation or impact on delivery. His understanding of design and functionality really showed. Finally, the speed of fabrication and shipment were truly amazing. A few weeks and the table arrived in packed snugly in its create and a few minutes later, it became the center piece of the dining area. A truly delightful, professional experience all around.

Chris has created several custom pieces for me over the past year, including my master bath vanity (wall mounted with back-painted glass) and matching wall-mounted cabinet and table; my fabulous bamboo home office desk and credenza; and other misc items. Besides being pleasant and a joy to work with, he is the consummate professional--he cares more about the smallest details than I do, and I'm very particular! And he has always delivered on time and budget. I've been unsure at times as to which direction I want to go, and Chris assessed my home, the respective room the piece would occupy, and my own personal style and came up with just the right design. I absolutely LOVE every single piece he has designed and created for me! It's a delight to see, touch and feel each piece--when I open and shut a drawer, I can feel the exceptional quality by the way the drawer feels, how it fits perfectly in its space. For someone who has purchased ready-made furniture most of my life, it's exhiliarating to experience! I highly recommend Chris to anyone who's seeking a highly-talented, honest, reputable designer who will go above and beyond your expectations in every aspect of your project.

My partners and I opened up a vintage store downtown Austin called Kings Road, all of us with our own ideas of what we wanted, but nothing set in stone. Chris and Eddie patiently listened while we gave all our requests, changing our minds hundreds of times. Honestly it was nuts . You should see for yourselves what Wilhite design came up with. It was so amazing, everyone who comes in the store are blown away with the look. Everything was finished in barn wood.......insane!!!!But really beautifully done.....great attention to detail. Did i mention that Chris is part German....need i say more...everything is perfectly crafted and finished..... Not only that these guys did not go one penny over budget, they even helped us find more barn wood to complete everything. They also researched industrial racks on castors and they have worked out fabulously and look amazing. They even managed a jewelry case with a roll out draw....genius... So to sum it up. Chris and Eddie are craftsmen who care very much about their work. They are reliable, creative and have a really really great sense of style. They think out of the box and they work harder than anyone I have ever met before. If you are lucky enough to have them work for you, Count yourself lucky.....we do.
