Christopher Stark Photography

Christopher Stark is a San Francisco–based interiors photographer whose work reflects the mood, character, and design intent of a space. With a fine-art background and an editorial eye, he creates images that convey both the vision behind a design and the experience of being there. He studied at the San Francisco Art Institute and the New York Studio Program at Parsons School of Design, where he assisted photographer Nan Goldin. An artist residency in Venice, Italy, deepened his interest in spaces that carry history, texture, and narrative. His photographs from that time were exhibited during the Venice Biennale, and the experience continues to inform the way he approaches interiors today. Christopher works with interior designers, architects, and artists throughout the U.S. and internationally. Recent projects have taken him to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Barcelona, and Marrakech. His work has been published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Luxe, Modern Luxury, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, California Home + Design, and Arquitectura y Diseño, among others.
