We were building from a distance and knew that we needed to have someone we could communicate with easily and that we could trust with all of the little details. During our first meeting with Claude and Debbie, we knew we had found the right team. They took the time to listen to what we were trying to achieve in building our home, and offered excellent guidance specific to our needs. Every step of the build they were a pleasure to work with, and any questions or concerns that we had along the way were addressed quickly. We were matched up with an architect and designer who were both able to take our ideas and put them into plans that created exactly what we wanted. The trades and craftsmen are excellent. There is great pride in workmanship and the quality of construction is unrivaled. We are so happy with the attention to detail evident throughout the house. The thing we are most impressed with is how well the house fits on the property. With the Comitos' guidance we have exactly what we wanted: The house is placed on the lot to take advantage of passive solar energy, the windows take advantage of views (and found some we didn't even know we would have), a great amount of privacy maintained even with those views, and the fact that much of the land and vegetation around the house was left undisturbed. Claude was able to squeeze every bit of amazing out of our lot and then some. The Comito team has a reputation for being the go to builder for the Colorado Springs hills, and from our experience that reputation is well earned. Our build was finished a couple weeks ahead of schedule, and right at budget. We have already recommended Comito Building and Design to friends of ours, and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone who asks. We have a house that has felt like home from the moment we took the keys and couldn't be happier.

Comity built our dream home in 2018. The whole process was so enjoyable, organized, and low stress. Claude, Debbie, and Riley made every effort to do exactly what we wanted, and made it fun along the way. We met with the Comito team on the recommendation of one of my future partners prior to our move to Colorado Springs. We were in the process of looking for lots to build on in the future and Claude and Debbie steered us to a perfect location in Cedar Heights. After talking through our ideas and budget, with outstanding help from the Comito's, we decided to build our dream house earlier than planned. We started the project a year ago and have been in the home now for 3 months and we couldn't be happier. The home was done on time and on budget. This is our third home building project in 20 years and by far has been the best experience and the most fun. Followup after we moved in has been great. Our first custom build and Claude and Debbie Comito made it a very comfortable experience. They consulted with us at every turn and gave us good lead time for each of the major decisions to be made. Quality of their subs was very good and materials were first class. Leo Bohack, Claude's construction superintendent, was superb!! He made our process so much easier with his courteous demeanor and his thoughtful suggestions. We are so pleased with the result..Our home is exactly what we hoped it would be. A year ago, I asked Claude to build a smaller custom home with clean lines. Debbie worked to help me pick out lights, fixtures, textures, cabinets and the result was a smaller custom home with big feel that nestled into the mountain pines. Unfortunately, one of those large pines fell during a storm. Nothing speaks more to the quality of the build when a 200 year old tree hits a home and the only structural damage is 1 truss. Nothing speaks more to a builder's team when I called for help and Claude and Leo showed up in less than an hour.

We hired Comito Building and Design to build our house for us the summer of 2010 and moved in April 2011. We could not have been happier! They were professional on every level, down to the sub-contractors they hired. They provided suggestions without being overbearing. They were conscious of our budget and helped us make the most of every dollar. They went above and beyond to help us get into our new house on time(including waiting at the house for satellite hook up while we were out of town!). The most important factor in building our Dream House in Colorado was working with Comito Building & Design. Our last home was a tear down and rebuild. The experience was difficult.
