Hemi came out to the house charged i think $175 to give us a estimate.for the job. I told him I needed the back Yard graded, because we had some drainage issues. i had moved a shed to another area and showed him where the ground was weak because of the move we stepped on it and he said he can take care of it. Later on , he tacked one a higher price to fill in the weak spot. He was also putting in a gate around my yard. I told him that I had some trees knocked down and now i needed some stumps to be removed. So he can put up a fence , I asked him would these other stumps Along the fence line where he would be putting up a new fence, be in the way he said no Later on he charged me more to remove stumps. Things like this happen throughout the whole job. I asked him to put some sod on my front yard and backyard. The sod looked old and tattered. The front yard was supposed to be soded all the way into the ditch. First I asked him to remove The Rocks, and he said we don't have to worry about that, because he's going to put sod all way into the ditch. He did not do that and even left the sod uneven and one third of the yard was undone in the front at this point I just wanted him off the property. , I have pictures. And from there it got worse. All these changes were made after we had already agreed upon a price in a contract.And the work had already Begun...

These guys are pros. From the estimate to the clean up, I was impressed at every step. They consistently checked their work and made sure it would be the best for the job I was wanting. Couldn’t have asked for anything better

Ok, when I first contacted Contours R us and the technician / owner (Hemi) or whatever his position is I was impressed - but this first impression was quickly eroded by his double talk, lies, and delays. Beware of this guy and his "business practices" as he is not a professional contractor at all! Here's why, after discussing what I wanted done he wanted to charge my card for $350 just to start the project but never explained what the fee was (precisely) for nor was I emailed, as he said / promised, the receipt. Once I paid this initial payment, he then wanted the entire payment for the job upfront without doing any work instead of half down and the remainder once the project was finished. I asked if I could use my card but he only wanted cash or would charge my an extra 3% not sure this is the way to treat your customers. Once my card was charged and after paying 2350.00 the job took about two weeks to start with minimum workers - like one person at a time - never two. The job took way too long, Hemi left equipment sitting on my property the entire two weeks (had a few rain days) where work could not be done. Lastly, two days prior to "completion" Hemi informed me the price had to go up to "pay his stump grinding guy" which was never discussed in the beginning! Once again, after handing him 1000.00 in cash he needed to charge my card for this additional fee of about 1500.00. After a very heated conversation I agreed to pay whatever fee just to get this situation done and over. Remember, I still have not received either an emailed or paper receipt up to this point but he kept saying it was emailed - I reminded him that I was the customer but it was / is Very difficult getting through to him on a basic or logical level - just kept asking me "why do you say that?". Long story short, I saw a charge in my bank account for a Skid Steer rental for 1555.00... When I asked about this Hemi tried to explain it away by saying "this is our receipt" as if I were born last night. So, basically, I paid about 6K for stump grinding and a few trailer loads of sand / supposed leveling..... List, I think Mr. Hemi may be a good gentleman but a reliable, organized, and focussed / professional contractor - he is not. Here's what I have discovered - there's the professional way and then there's the "Hemi way!". Save yourself heartache, pain, and money - do not Walk - Run from this person!!!!!!!! We had our yard graded and Hemi was amazing to work with. Excellent communication and explained the how's and why's. Hemi and Chris did an amazing job and we have recommended them to other neighbors who need work done. We have future work that we are definitely going to call them!!

They did a fabulous job, grading my yard! They removed top layer of clay dirt and disposed of it, then used high quality,fertilized top soil, spread grass seed and cleaned up . All this was done in one afternoon! Hemi is very nice and knowledgeable about what you need for your project . Their prices are very reasonable for the excellent job you receive!

They did a fantastic job on our backyard. We are so happy with our block wall and patio. We changed the scope of our project a few times and everyone was super accommodating. Very professional and helpful with design ideas. Would highly recommend.
