Silver Peak Design Build

Craig and his team remodeled our combined bathroom / laundry room. We converted our bathroom into and ADA compliant space in case one of us every finds ourselves in a wheelchair. This was a down to the studs remodel that included extensive work from multiple trades; plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile, glass, cabinetry, sheetrock. The new bathroom has a tile shower and floor, a bidet, and pocket doors for privacy and sound deadening from the laundry area. The contractors arrived when they said they would. They did their work efficiently and cleaned up after themselves. In a word it turned out beautifully. I have other projects around my house and I expect to reach out to Silver Peak again.

Silver Peak completed two separate projects as part of renovating a 65 year old home we recently purchased. Both projects were primarily carpentry work involved either rebuilding exterior walls and replacing windows where water damage was extensive enough from years of neglect that framing, sheeting and exterior siding all needed to be replaced, or new construction to enlarge the kitchen where the significant structural changes required design and permitting processes. The main challenges of both projects involved addressing the unknowns of what damage and surprises existed behind the walls. While a detailed design or sketch existed as a basis of the bid before the work was stared, at least half the work had to be field engineered once the initial demolition was done. The lead carpenter was very experienced at remodeling in this environment. Productivity was always excellent. He came prepared with the tools, the materials, and the help he needed every day, and detailed the following days progress before leaving at the end of the day.

Craig and his crew at Silver Peak Design Build were phenomenal. They were honest and flexible with the many idiosyncrasies of our older home. We would definitely call Craig again for future remodeling.

We have been working with Craig and his team for nearly five years now. His team completed several smaller projects on our house while we planned a bigger project- an adu in our backyard, which is set to be completed this month. They guided us through everything with conscientiousness and honesty. I have been particularly pleased with communication, estimating and staying on budget, and timeliness of completion of projects. I have also found the teams design suggestions useful and helpful! I would recommend Silver Peak Design and Build to anyone!
