Need a Contractor and/or still dealing with your insurance company? After firing my last two contractors; I have finally found one that does exactly what he says he will do. I currently working with Jim Pitcher of CRC Builders in Fairfield. My first experience with Jim was helping me produce a detailed estimate of my original house to justify the real costs of replacement. I know that some of you have used an outside adjustor. I almost did the same thing; at a cost of 30% of everything they get from your insurance company. Now there are no guarantees with most of these adjusters. Jim has been doing construction since 1994 and dealing with insurance companies for years. Jim knows the latest codes upgrades and was able to work with my insurance company to get me the needed funds to continue with my rebuild. Jim has been very helpful in coming to terms to sign a contract. He uses BuilderTrend to communicate everything that happens with your project; so if you cannot get to your property; you can see what is happening on a daily basis. This is a great value to the owner as pictures are taken on any new work that is being done; so actual work can be seen. I call it "One Stop Shopping" where you; the owner can add any concerns that you might have and can check what work is being done. Billing is also available; so it keeps track of all payments. There is a schedule calendar; so you can see what going to happen when. Very important. Jim has just finished a 15,000 sq. ft. house in Napa County and after seeing the finished product gives me the confidence in CRC to build my house just how I imagine it to be. If you are still dealing with your insurance company or need an honest contractor; I would recommend CRC and Jim Pitcher.

Jim and his crew did a major bathroom remodel for me about 7 years ago. The bid was accurate. The work was top notch with the crew leaving the work area (my home) clean and organized at the end of each day. I have and do recommend Castle Rock Construction for anyone with a remodel project.

I had a fantastic experience working with Jim. He really understands construction and his crew is top notch. I built cabinets for a large remodel and he was the general contractor. His crew installed the cabinets which I created. I am so pleased with the results and I can see that both the Mr. and the Mrs. have already posted 5 star reviews. You cannot argue with the result. A very beautiful home and very happy clients are both something to be proud of. I would not hesitate to give my highest recommendation to any of my friends of family.

Jim Pitcher renovated our bathrooms, whole kitchen and family room and raised our ceiling higher to make our room look bigger and brighter. He also added a new electrical panel to control all our new kitchen appliances. Jim and his team did an awesome job, they were very professional, courteous and hardworking. We are very impressed with the finished result specially with our kitchem and family room with new vaulted ceiling and skylights. We had so many compliments from friends and family. Money very well spent.

I first got to know Jim Pitcher and his company when he worked on a deck project run by another contractor. Castle Rock was brought in for a special finish to the deck surface. My original contractor was a lovely man but the work was slow and at times frustrating. When Castle Rock came to talk about surfaces, they did exactly what we agreed on in exactly the time frame agreed on. I subsequently used just them on another deck project which they completed on time, in the estimate agreed on and to my complete satisfaction. Then I used them on an indoor bedroom shower project. They gave options, we choise one, they did the work on time. When I questioned one aspect of the work they sent a manager round the next day and the work was completed to my entire satisfaction that day. They are reliable, versitile, pleasant, honest, and a pleasure to deal with, When you find a contractor tlike that they are worth their weight in gold.

It is difficult in this day and age to find a competent contractor. It is even more difficult finding one with integrity that can be trusted. Castle rock construction fits both of these criteria's and for that I am thankful. As the President of Costa Vista Homeowners Association, I took a vow to spend the dues of my neighbors wisely. I could have made no better choice than to trust our funds with Jim from Castle Rock. His whole team was on time, professional and courteous not only to me, but to all 65 homeowners at the association. His work came in on time and under budget! Working with an association is always a challenge but Castle Rock completed the task and is now part of our association family as any other resident. Thanks Castle Rock!

Jim and his team at Castle Rock Construction are a pleasure to work with. We started a big remodeling project with him in 2011. They took out walls and opened up rooms for us, built an addition to our kitchen and remodeled our entire kitchen. The workmanship was beautiful. The project came in on budget and on time. We are continuing to have Jim, at Castle Rock, do every project we can think of. He is a wonderful person to work with and really listens to what you are asking for, helps with his expert opinion when you need help making a decision, and has an eye for details. He will work with you to make the project fit in the budget. His work was so fantastic that our kitchen was far beyond what I could even imagine it to be. I can't wait for people to see the photos of our first project with Castle Rock and look forward to posting photos of the project that is now underway.
