DB Design + is all about creating spaces that feel good and function well. The studio has worked on residential projects varying in scope and size in California, Illinois, Colorado, Nevada, Arizona and surrounding areas. DB Design + is highly customer centric, believing everyone deserves a space that is authentically theirs. Their design philosophy can be summarized in three words: - lucent (adj.) softly bright or radiant - ludic (adj.) full of fun and high spirits - lagom (adj.) Not too little, not too much. Dana did a fantastic job helping us achieve our dream home! She was great at communicating with our other contractors to provide a smooth and seamless process. She has a great eye for design and provided us with lots of options for all aspects of our house. She is a great communicator and very easy and fun to work with. She will go above and beyond for her clients! I would definitely recommend her for all your interior design needs!

If you’re looking for a designer, look no more because Dana is it! I hired her think that she would be just okay, but she exceeded my wildest dreams. She s THEE most patient, calm and accommodating designer I’ve ever heard of. Between the late night exchange of inspiration photos, to the many times I added on to the scope of the project…she’s just the best. Her taste is impeccable and aligned with my vision seamlessly. She didn’t impose her ideas and opinions but would “gently” nudge me to see her vision, which was always best. She worked with the trades really well. Even through my meltdowns when I didn’t understand delays (in COVID). I can’t wait to work on other projects in my house with her. There’s no one that can do it better!

Wow Dana is so good at quickly creating computer renderings. For a small bathroom I wanted something fun but not crazy. She and I chose white penny tile all the way to ceiling with a black peace symbol . Dana listens well and isn’t put off by running through many ideas before you arrive at the right one. Her computer skills helped me see the outcomes easily. I am so pleased and will be using Dana to help with furniture selection and layout in two bedrooms.

Dana was very professional, creative and amicable to my requests. She led the floor layout, furniture choice and art for the room. She kept the fireplace as a main focal point of the room while accommodating a large tv. She also helped in redesigning the layout when I needed to set up a desk for working from home.

Dana took such care in curating our new home. We had originally planned on using her for space planning but quickly realized that her expertise could be used across the board. She provided furniture, accessory and art selections that perfectly reflected my husband and my personality and style. She also helped us stick to our budget by re-purposing pieces we thought we'd have to toss and then finding us awesome staple new pieces to add to our new home. Dana was honestly a lifesaver. It was my first time working with a designer so I wasn't sure what to expect and on top of that, I was in St. Louis with family during the first phase of the project so I could only communicate with Dana over the phone and email. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Dana was highly professional and organized right from the start. She understood my vision for my new condo from the start and the finished project surpassed my expectations. Dana made the entire process stress-free. The design and layout of my condo function so well for my lifestyle and we were able to keep the cost down while still finding quality pieces.

Dana is amazing to work with. She is professional and highly organized. She has a great eye and has already made several contributions that has transformed our apartment in Chicago, working within a strict budget. So far we have worked on installing a barn door over the bedroom doorway, kitchen island, and upgrading our back splash. There are other projects we intend to work with her on in the future (upgrading: kitchen cabinets, counter tops, kitchen appliances, closet doors, and wood floors). She will also be assisting us with decorating the kitchen, living room, bedroom, and bathroom. We are already very happy with her service.
