Complete waste of time money&energy multiple people came to measure my door. I confirmed before giving them the check for the deposit-thousands of dollars you would think they would make sure it’s gonna work but after eight months of back-and-forth and so many phone calls and at least 10 different appointments at my residence they said they’re unable to make the door fit

We’re truly sorry to hear that you were left feeling so disappointed by your experience with us. We understand how frustrating it can be when a project doesn’t go as planned, and we genuinely regret that we couldn’t meet your expectations despite our best efforts.

Your project was particularly complex, as you requested a custom door slab installation—not a prehung unit—which most companies would not take on due to the challenges involved. Our team made multiple visits to your home, worked closely with the manufacturer, and stayed in regular communication in an effort to make this work for you.

When it became clear that the installation could not be completed to the standard you and we expected, we issued a full refund—including the cost of the custom-ordered product, which we absorbed ourselves. While we always strive for successful outcomes, sometimes the best course is to part ways respectfully and responsibly, as we did here.

We’re sorry to see a one-star review despite the time, care, and financial cost we willingly took on to try to help. Nonetheless, we wish you all the best and hope your door project is completed to your satisfaction.

We had Davis Window and Door replace both of the front doors on our 1953 ranch house: one that is a standard size and one that's only 32". We have been happy with everyone: the salesman, Jim, the gentleman who came out to measure before the orders were placed, the folks in the office, and the installers, David and Matthew. The house really made it difficult for them on the install, because it's old and almost nothing about it is standard, but they got them both in beautifully and even were able to raise the small door high enough to clear the new carpet that had just been installed. They also did a great clean up job and you really couldn't tell they'd been here except for the beautiful new doors.

Davis Window and Door replaced 26 windows in our home in 2015 and did an excellent job working with just one opening at a time due to the hot summer time. I liked the idea of having one technician in the house the whole time so they did not track in and out. We should have had them replace one of the rear doors at the same time, chose not to, called two years later to have this installed and, same excellent service with a door that is so much better than the builder grade. Very happy all around with this company.

This is my third project with Davis Window and Door Company and I keep coming back. They have a slightly higher price point than some of the competition but you get what you pay for and more. Wonderful customer service, lifetime warranty and a professional, courtesy staff make all the difference. I highly recommend giving them some consideration.
