DD Ford recently built a new home for us and they were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. After reviewing our architect's plans and getting a sense for the types of finishes we wanted, they came up with a very detailed, realistic and reasonable budget. They were extremely knowledgeable and creative in bringing the architect's plans to life and they came up with multiple ideas along the way to maximize practicality and trim costs without sacrificing quality. Our requests for additions to the original plans and budget were always fairly priced and we were always given full credit for any deletions. The quality of their work and their attention to detail were well above what we expected and their integrity minimized the stress associated with building a house. The weekly progress meetings we had with them were always informative and enjoyable. Our home was completed on time and choosing DD Ford again in the future would be a no brainer.

Hiring DD Ford to build our home is the best decision we could have made. We were beyond impressed with Doug, Casey, Misha and the rest of the DD Ford team. They are consummate professionals. We had absolute confidence that our home was being built to the highest standards. Communication was superb. Deadlines and budgets were met. The pictures of my property are already showcased in DD Ford's body of work on Houzz titled East Mountain. My project was a joy from start to finish and DD Ford had their superintendent, owner, and budget manager at every design meeting with my architect. We finished on budget, and I have a custom home with amazing details. Everyday their superintendent was on site to manage the subcontractors and keep the schedule on track. We finished on time and I'm certain it was because of their management capabilities. They worked amazingly well with my architect and let her ideas flow freely, followed her plans, and created my beautiful home from the ground up. There was a lightness and enthusiasm to our project and I am grateful every morning when I wake up in my fabulous space. I had lost my home in a wildfire and wasn't somebody actively looking to build a house. Since I had lived on the property for many years I knew what elements I wanted in my new home, and they delivered beyond my expectations. I can honestly say that you won't be disappointed if you hire DD Ford! As a realtor I have referred clients to their remodel department and they have been pleased as well. When your project is finished, they also have a maintenance department that can keep your mechanical room working and follow up with painting, etc. as any need arises.

Ryan, Trevor, Casey and the entire DD Ford team were a joy to work with. Every project has its ups and downs and can be stressful for the homeowner. We always felt we had all the information we needed to make the best decisions and that gave us the most important thing in a remodel, peace of mind. We used DD Ford once and will use them again.

Not only was the workmanship EXCELLENT, but we loved how organized DD Ford was. The original bid was super detailed - that was very reassuring. We so appreciated the weekly reports from our Project Manager: the bullet points before each meeting (knowing who was handling what, when & how much), the recap of these meetings, the time lines, the $$ tracking. All this info was very helpful. We also just genuinely liked everyone on the job. Our Project Foreman went out of his way to always be helpful and communicative. He told me I could call anytime and a couple of weekends ago, I did! When the gas had been turned back on but still not working, he walked me through the reset at the earthquake shut off valve and then stopped by (on a Saturday) to make sure it worked. Extra Bonus: we received great compliments from our immediate neighbors on the consideration paid to them during the process.

I hired DD Ford to do a complete remodel of my home. The expertise of the project supervisor and project manager and the level of quality of their work were beyond that of any other individuals I have worked with in the past. The attention to detail, the adherence to budget and schedule, coordination of subcontractors, "can do" attitude and the efficiency of communications all exceed my expectations. They made the process seem easy. The end product speaks for itself – I’m extremely happy with my new home and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality general contractor.

A full kitchen remodel and design - with the addition of a new hallway - wine closet/ cellar and exercise room. The entire project was a pleasure - the entire DD Ford Team was extremely professional and honestly I was a bit sad to see them all go. They will be my first phone call for the next project.
