Our kitchen was the 5th project we've had Renata and Jiri do for us over the years (3 bathrooms, leveling our floor and installing hardwood floors, and now our kitchen). Each time we are thrilled with the results. The quality is beyond anything we've seen with other people we've used. The times we went with other people (due mainly to my impatience to wait for an opening with Delta Star Group) I ALWAYS regret not holding off for Renata and Jiri. They are great with keeping our budget in mind and providing alternatives. The work they do is with the same quality and love they would do with their own house.

We LOVE our kitchen. We also love working with Jiri and Renata. Renata’s eye and taste was invaluable in helping us make decisions on each design element. Renata was always available to meet, talk by text or phone, and email to answer questions and guide us as the work progressed. This was a complex remodel and renovation of a 1923 house. The work was much more than cosmetic and with each phase she explained what they were doing, how long it would take, and ensure we were satisfied with the work. Jiri treated our home as if it was his own. He never cut corners nor overlooked details. He is a craftsman and his work is head and shoulders above others. Each night, Jiri and his crew left the job-site clean and tidy. We never imagined having a kitchen as beautiful, functional, well-lit, and spacious. We have full confidence in and recommend Delta Star Group (Jiri and Renata) for any project. In fact, we continue to engage them to work on smaller jobs while we contemplate our next renovation.

Jiri and Renata have been doing projects, big and small, for our 110-year-old house for over a decade. Re-built porch...crown molding throughout the main floor...renovated bathroom and powder room...kitchen backsplash...and most recently, a totally renovated basement. Jiri truly is a master craftsman with an eye for detail and perfection that is simply uncanny. Similarly, Renata has a remarkable ability to understand and appreciate our aesthetic, and connect us with the retailers and designers to match that vision. They are incredibly patient, responsive, and just really, really nice! Whenever problems arise (which in a house this old they always do), Jiri and Renata ensure that the problem gets resolved quickly and cost effectively, which attenuates the pain of the unexpected. Among other projects in our home, Jiri and Renata have recreated a post-deco upstairs bathroom, and matched the front porch and bannisters to the pre-craftsman era of the exterior. For the recent basement project, we decided to meld both modern and vintage elegance with maximum functionality. They were able to re-build our stairs (to code), add new windows, create a comfortable media room with fireplace and built-in audio, a music room for our grand piano, a modern office space, a guest bedroom with en suite and steam shower, a laundry room, and enough storage to meet our needs. In the process, we got a new furnace and duct work, hot water heater, updated electrical, and insulation. We're just as excited by what we don't see as by what we do see! I can't recommend Delta Star highly enough. We would never consider working with any other Chicago contractor. We trust their knowledge, experience, and expertise one hundred percent. Knowing the quality and craftsmanship that Jiri and Renata bring to the table alleviates the anxiety that goes with any home project.

We truly wish we could add more stars ! Renata and Jiri are above excellent. They remodeled our kitchen, my bathroom and my husbands shower. The complete downstairs was painted also. Renata and Jiri were awesome. They had great attention to detail, awesome taste, and really are true artists. We had our upstairs bathroom redone, basically gutted and remodeled. Renata helped us pick out the tile and all the fixtures. We love our bathroom and know that it will last a long time. They do great quality work! We would highly recommend!

We would highly recommend working with Renata and Jiri from Delta Star Group. They were professional from beginning to end and far exceed our expectations of our project. Over two days, Jiri built and installed a large ikea wall unit, coming out looking like a custom built-in unit. Jiri custom cut some pieces to perfectly fit our space, and made sure everything was level given some uneven floors and walls. We look forward to working with them on many projects in the future.

Renata and Jiri are fantastic! I could not be happier with their workmanship and attention to detail. Renata met me at stone places and plumbing stores to help me make decisions on materials. They were efficient and very organized. I highly recommend them.....you won't find better work or better price in Chicago. I give them 100 stars!

Jiri & Renata are not only professional, but also good people, excellent people. Jiri's work is outstanding, thorough, and he's quick. They are very honest & upfront about everything, and communication is clear. Delta Star is my go-to for anything I need done in or outside my house, both big & small. I don't bother calling anyone else. I first had them do a major project on my entire second floor 13 years ago, then an entire kitchen was redone. Then another bathroom. I have also had them fix various thing throughout the years, from minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, a roof over my backporch, and siding repairs on the house. Jiri is always there when I need him, and Renata is super responsive whenever I contact her. I am grateful to have found them!

I recommend Renata and Jiri to everyone! They are consummate professionals. Renata has a great eye for design and really helped us make design choices that we are very happy with. Jiri is so detail oriented and precise. We love the bookshelves and the cabinets they have made for us. The workmanship is perfect. I also appreciate that Jiri comes to do a project and works on it until it is done. There are never issues with disappearing for a few days to work on a different project.

Renata and Jiri came highly recommended by my colleague and now I highly recommend them to you. They're true artists, I tell you, and worth every penny. Renata was a great help in designing our bathroom and talking us through the different styles we could implement. She was invaluable when it came time to go "shopping" for fixtures and tile, and boldy negotiated prices with vendors. She is also an excellent communicator, and answered all of our inquiries in a timely manner. Jiri is a skilled craftsman with careful attention to detail. My husband and I always trusted his ideas and his handiwork. If ever we wanted to make a change, he was keen to understand why, and would gladly implement it if it was feasible. He is also very trustworthy- the back gate and garage doors were always locked at the end of the day, and his workspace was always very tidy. We love our new bathroom, and we will call Delta Star Group again for our next project. PS- They gave us homemade strawberry jam and cucumbers from their garden. Seriously. They're the best.
