Wendy was a life saver helping us remodel our newly purchased home. We worked together on design and style with her guiding my choices to help make our remodel as beautiful as could be. When I was stuck on something she was confident in her pick. She talked me off the ledge a few times when mishaps happened. Our home is *almost* done and we have gotten nothing but praises and compliments when we have guests over. She alleviated a lot of stress of all the choosing. Choosing this choosing that…it gets overwhelming!! She’d say, “inch by inch, it’s a cinch!”From the paint color to the fine details to the amazing contractor recommendations, our project simply would not have turned out so timeless and perfect without Wendy and her team!

I have worked with several designers over the last 20+ years and found Wendy and her team to be exceptional. My project was a whole house remodel and Wendy was instrumental in all stages of the project including design concept, materials selection, build oversight and final installation of furniture, fixtures and accessories. She is a very skilled designer with strong communication skills. She listens well and is, by nature, highly collaborative. She combined creativity with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail and good project management skills to help me create a beautiful home that reflects my tastes and works well for our family. She was respectful of cost and provided excellent counsel on where to save and where to splurge for the highest impact within my budget. I highly recommend her and will certainly use her again.

The team is also available for furniture selection and placement and window treatments that compliment each space. WGI met with us on our job site and at the vendors’ businesses as necessary. Completed second house with Wendy. Both fire related. First our own heavy damage. Remodeled whole house with her designs. When seeing I spend lots of time in wheelchair, she threw in some ADA ideas in cabinetry that greatly improved my ability to navigate while keeping easy access. Interestingly project manager for Restoration company warned me to be aware of interior designers as they can be pushy with their ideas. Asked him his thoughts on her after first meeting and he said I think she’ll be great. The second house is a rental and I wanted undamaged to be upgraded to look as built in 2024. It didn’t have to be a custom award winner but nice. Used the same project mgr. as first house only with different company. She designed and picked out everything. Countertops, carpet, lighting, appliances, fans, window covers, wood plank flooring, paint colors etc. again asked super how was she to work with. He said great. They would meet at a distributors n she knew exactly what she wanted. They’d be in and out quick. It turned out fantastic like built yesterday. Gave it to property manager to post for rent. Put it on his website one day showed it the next. He hadn’t seen it finished and was very impressed. Said it looked great. First people to look at it young couple didn’t look longer than two or three minutes, fell in love filled out an application, gave a deposit and rented it. Wendy Glaister Interiors definitely deserve all of her awards and more that I’m sure are coming. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an interior designer.

We cannot say enough good things about Wendy and her excellent team who helped us with whole house renovation! From the beginning, Wendy was patient, encouraging, and thoughtful. She listened to what styles we wanted, how we wanted our new home to function, and was eager to take on the scope of the project. She was patient with our constant changes of plans while entertaining our multitude of ideas. She would rein us in if an idea became too wild or too costly but would find alternative ways to incorporate the idea into the project. Wendy is professional and, obviously, an expert in her field with a great eye for color, texture, function and style. Wendy is warm and cheery who is a joy to work with. It goes a long way to help alleviate some of the stress when working on a large project like this. All the team members and subcontractors were top notch. We can tell they are thrilled to work on projects with Wendy. We had total trust in her creativity and leadership in bringing our vision to life. It has been 6 months since we’ve moved into our new home and we have been loving every inch of it. We are still discovering and appreciating new details of the house that makes it a real getaway from our busy life. In the end, we could not be more proud of our home that Wendy helped create for us. Wendy and Stephanie are simply the best. This is house number 3 that I am working through slowly remodeling. We did a master bath/bedroom remodel and built two offices in our backyard. I had an overall wonderful experience with them and will use them on my next project. Stephanie has an amazing ability to quickly pick up what my taste is and find the most delightful things. This was crucial to me as my husband and I have a tech startup and so my time is limited, but I still want spaces that make me smile each time I walk into them. Mission Accomplished. I love my bedroom and bathroom. They are also capable of handling things when the project gets sticky with the contractor. They were both there for me and handled the communication so that I didn't feel like it was on my shoulders to argue with the contractor. There are always snags with contractors so it is wonderful to have designers that know how to handle them with grace. Bottom line - do yourself a favor and ask them to help you with your next project. The process will be lovely and you will end up with a space to love and cherish for years to come.

When I came upon Wendy Glaister’s portfolio I was drawn to her style and felt she would be easy to work with redesigning my furnished one bedroom rental apartment. At our consultation, she gave me her impression of my vision in a brief sketch that was spot on and I knew she was a good choice for me. Throughout our project, Wendy was passionate about her design with a gentle and kind spirit. She was respectful of my budget along with a gentle guidance to keep cost in prospective, but quality in mind. I was impressed with the thought that went into her design, not only the obvious exterior look, but the flow and functionality of each living space. We are so happy working with Wendy. In fact, Wendy has helped us on multiple projects and will soon be helping our daughter and her husband on a project! Two of Wendy's best qualities...she listens and she cares! Wendy truly listened to what we were trying to do with our home. She did not come in with a pre-set agenda and force her ideas on us. We started working with Wendy in 2018 to remodel our master bathroom (our very first remodel so we were a bit anxious) and I was immediately impressed by Wendy’s communication skills and her ability to listen to our needs and to translate our vision into reality. A talented designer with an incredible eye, her ability to coordinate materials and colors is outstanding, not to mention her never ending patience and kindness. Whenever we had any questions or concerns about the remodel, Wendy was there helping to clarify what to expect. We were so pleased with the master bathroom, in 2019 we decided to remodel our family room/kitchen/breakfast area. With Wendy’s guidance and expertise, she helped create a beautiful spacious living space for our family. Again I attribute this to Wendy’s attentiveness to listening to her clients and the fact that she truly cares about helping her clients create an environment that is custom to their needs. Also, Wendy takes pride in her working relationships with the contractors she recommends and makes every effort to provide a staff that is responsible, reliable, and dependable. And in spite of her very demanding schedule, she is always punctual, which we appreciated. Finally in 2021, we decided to tackle the laundry room and guest bathroom. Due to unforeseen circumstances and COVID, adjustments had to be made to our original design and to the materials selected but somehow Wendy "magically" pulled it all together and produced a lovely laundry room/guest bathroom. My husband and I feel truly grateful and fortunate to have had Wendy's expertise and guidance through all 3 phases of our remodels. We now have a lovely home, thanks to Wendy.

Wendy and Stephanie are amazing. I moved into a new house in the spring and just didn't have any furniture that worked in the house. I am also working on a tech startup and have two elementary aged kids so I didn't have any time to deal with it either. The two of them have made the process easy and wonderful. They text me pictures of things and I say yes or no and then if I like them the furniture shows up at my house. It is kinda the best! We started working with Wendy Glaister, on our nearly 2 year project, during demolition of an existing house on a private golf course lot. She has listened to our ideas and visions, likes and dislikes, and guided us from architect drawings all the way to completion. Wendy did a lovely job on the remodel of an upstairs bathroom for my teenage boys. She took into consideration, their needs and wishes, and made sure to include them in the decision making process. She was very considerate of all involved. The bathroom definitely turned out better than expected! Wendy suggested a more masculine color scheme with black cabinetry and dark grey walls. She also recommended taking the tub out, because it wasn't being used, and greatly expanding the shower. Wendy was very attentive and listened to both my wife and I express our desires for a new color scheme for the interior of our home. She proposed five colors to apply as samples to multiple locations within the various rooms. The colors varied slightly, but were dramatically different under different lighting throughout the day and evening. When she returned a few weeks later after ample time to get the feel of the interactions of colors, light and walls she proposed a selection of colors and paints for the various walls and ceilings. We then met with the painter, Doug Brummel and discussed the various decisions and options to obtain a bid. The bid was made in a timely manner and detailed the painting process and timing. Doug's crew were excellent and the job was finished on time and within the budget. The result was better than expected! The architectural aspects of the interior of the home were highly accentuated by the painting schemes with both the natural light during the day and the home lighting in the evening. The rooms really stood out and highlighted the other features in the room like the fireplace, windows, doorways and hallways into other rooms. We were very pleased with the painting and look forward to the next phase of the project.

Wendy is a very knowledgable and artistic designer. I enjoyed her perserverance and enthusiasm in getting a fresh, new bedroom remodel. She made a myriad of professional suggestions, and for the most part, we followed them. Her contractor put in high tech lighting, patched up the ceiling with new plaster, brought in new baseboards,and crown moulding. He worked with a painter to make sure that proper care was given to every detail. in addtion, he saw that all of the old materials were removed on time. Ilike the way that he made a conscious effort to make us as comfortable as possible while the remodel was going on. Fans, hoses, mats, and plastic sheetingi were applied to keep the dust and fumes at bay. Wendy brought in high quality fabrics from a designer show that she had visited in San Francisco. She also helped me in selecting carpet, drapery material, bedding, framing,and floral arrangements on sight. I was able to get a good discount on my light fixtures by dropping her name as well. Wendy found a tile man to install some tile for me in our bathroom as well. He showed up and worked over Memorial Weekend. Infact, all of the personel that we worked with proved to be respectful and on time. I love my new remodel! I'm glad that we made the decision to hire her!
