Design for Living

Alison and her team were a delight to work with. They did a full house floor plan and design, as well as purchasing, installation and accessorizing for me. I was so impressed with how carefully they listened to my every word, helped me articulate my vision, then presented a design proposal to make it all happen. On the front end of the project, Alison presented a detailed overview of each stage of the project and set expectations on objectives and timing. By closely following that plan, we stayed on time and on budget, even with mid project course adjustments. Alison did an amazing job with the space design, and the quality of the furniture she ordered went beyond expectations. I was especially impressed with how she was able to incorporate some of my existing pieces into the overall project (not an easy feat as I was going from a beach to an alpine design). I’m short, I loved working with Alison and the results were absolutely beautiful!

I hired Alison for a 2021 Truckee Tahoe remodel. She was absolutely amazing to work with. Besides being an amazing designer she is super organized and was incredibly helpful at sourcing vendors for the entire project. She kept the project timelines on track and helped navigating supply issues. The project highlights includes full kitchen remodel, new flooring and paint, bathroom remodels, stairway entry remodel, tile and more. I am super excited about the end result. I highly recommend Alison. I would hire her again in a heartbeat on my next project.

Although it wasn't our first home purchase, and we had some experience renovating before, when we bought a large old historic home in need of serious renovations, we were overwhelmed! The project included a master bathroom, girls bath, powder room and kitchen. We hired Alison as our designer and never looked back. This was our first time using a professional designer and we were so happy that we did. It was just such a joy working with Alison, and thats when we realized how important it is not only to find someone that could really bring your vision/style into reality, but also someone that you enjoy working with and that made the process easy, fun and approachable. She helped guide us through the process, gave us great ideas, really listened to what we wanted/were looking for, and ultimately got us to a final result that we loved.
