I hired Paul to design and manage a residential construction project in Toronto. Paul was very enthusiastic and eager to come up with a design that was both functional and unique in it’s design. Paul was very knowledgeable when it came to different codes that would have to be met. He also had really good suggestions when it came to some of the different materials that could be used. I would definitely recommend using Paul for your next project. He was honest, reliable, and trustworthy throughout the project. He was able to manage expectations and walked me through the permit process with the city. Couldn’t be happier with the end result, and would definitely use him again in the future.

De Sousa Designs did a Fantastic job on our 2nd Floor Master Ensuite addition design. Paul was willing to work with us through several design concepts and design iterations until we were completely happy with the design. Paul really listened to us and worked with in a very collaborative way. We sailed through the municipal permitting and Inspection processes which was largely due to the quality and completeness of the design drawings prepared by De Sousa Designs. Paul is a lovely person and a good architect. He was very thorough in helping us with our house plans, anticipating issues, sitting down and explaining them, and discussing options. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to renovate or reconstruct their homes.
