About Us

Best of Houzz 2014-2021. Details Interiors is a full service interior design company founded in 1998 by design veteran Barbara Replogle. Her eye for detail in the design development and attention to detail in servicing her clients has led to many a beautiful home and satisfied client. Whether it's transitional or traditional design motifs, Barbara works closely with clients to discern their needs and tastes, and then produce extraordinary designs that are not only beautiful to look at but comfortable, functional and very welcoming. Utilizing resources from all over the world, Barbara is adept at finding the right piece of art or accessory. Barbara prides herself on discovering new resources on an ongoing basis so she is always able to bring fresh and different ideas to the table. She visits numerous trade shows and design centers to sit on furniture, run her fingers along finishes and fabrics, walk barefoot on rugs and view in person the beautiful details of art and accessories often undetectable on the printed page. Details Interiors has compiled a full portfolio of work ranging from single room to entire turn- key home designs. She has also enjoyed working with clients during the new home building process. Using her services at the very beginning stages of the building process can be critical in achieving a cohesive design for the home. With an eye to every detail, she will help with flooring, granite, tile, lighting, cabinetry and hardware selections making sure all of the elements work together.

Barb was amazing to work with over the past year. She helped, not only outfitting my entire new build with furniture but designed the interior space with the builder. Everything from deciding on wall placement, closet placement, door placement, electrical walk-through, lighting throughout house, chose all tile for 7 bathrooms, worked on the budget. There wasn't a detail that was missed. She thought through each and every space in my entire home and helped me picture and work through how I will functionally use it. I felt she was extremely attentive and she cared about my home and how it turned out, as if it were her own. She attended every kitchen, cabinet, appliance, contractor and builders meetings. She then finished the space with furniture and wallpaper design. She also designed 9 built-ins in our home. I can't say enough good things and would never have been able to do this without her expertise. She brings years of knowledge and resources to build and design a complete CUSTOM home.

Barbara has helped us finish off our family room, living room and dining room after a rather difficult remodeling experience. I didn't think we would ever get there, but Barbara has worked miracles with paint color, rugs and art work to give our home the warm yet polished look we were after. Barb is extremely easy to work with....she listens well, brings in plenty of choices and most importantly, sticks to her timeline, cost estimates and budget. The first project was a design effort for the lower levels in our home. The second was a design of our master bedroom and bathroom. I have worked with Barbara for more than 5 years. We started with one room, then moved on to a 3 level addition, and by now, she’s designed and decorated (almost) my entire home, and our vacation spot. I found it incredibly helpful to have her working with my architect and builder throughout the renovation/build process; her attention to detail and ability to thoughtfully work through problems ensured the final product was exactly what we wanted. From making sure the windows were far enough apart to fit the headboard in the bedroom, to choosing bathroom tiles and light fixtures, to identifying the perfect location for all electrical outlets, her input was invaluable. I am routinely amazed by her creativity, and her ability to choose the perfect colors and complementary fabrics. She can work across styles and budgets, though the work I’ve most admired is transitional (my taste). She can find exactly what you never knew you desperately wanted/needed, across the spectrum: high-end, mid market, unique independent artisans and mass produced. I routinely receive compliments on my home. Barbara is incredibly easy to work with; she listens carefully, communicates clearly, and seems to care as much about my home as I do.
