Rarely can one undertake a major renovation/re-design/decorating project without a small disappointment or misjudgment when it is all done. It took 15 months to completely design and decorate our 2200 square foot apartment and to this day, there isn't one thing we would change. It is sheer perfection! Cannot praise Gail Miller and her Shields & Company enough to do her justice.

Gail is an incredible person to work with. My husband and I had very specific ideas on what we wanted. Instead of the apartment being about the designer it was about us. Absolutley wonderful to work with, and our apartment is gorgeous, Gail was attentive, she and her office worked with us on deliveries, if we werent there they would be to accept, inspect and place the furniture. It made our lives easy. I would use her again and have recommended her to many people.

She was able to work with my wife in designing our 5th ave apartment through a very complicated renovation with a Co-Op that was very difficult. Commented: wood floorsThese floors are prefinished and come with a slightly uneven feeling, as opposed to totally smooth, and have been cerused. They were purchased through LV FLooriing in NYC. They look divine!
