Daniel Krienbuehl (Kree-en-buell) Contractors Inc. is a full service home improvement and remodeling contractor serving Montgomery County MD and surrounding areas for 17 years, since 2001. There he learned from experienced old school carpenters how to timber frame and build log houses. Cutting mortise and tenons for structural posts is still something that's done today. Since the late 80's, Daniel has learned all about the ever-changing U.S. construction industry. Daniel started his own remodeling company in 2001 and has since designed and built many additions and remodels in and around Montgomery County, MD. Through years of experience, Daniel has obtained the noteworthy ability of navigating design changes that make construction easier and cheaper. He has proven himself to be an upstanding communicator, prompting all parties involved in a remodeling project to work as one. His ability to plan, schedule, and execute projects have made jobs less stressful and more rewarding for his clients. Daniel and his team did major work at our new-to-us 1939 home in Silver Spring. New plumbing, drywall, insulation, ventilation, electrical, paint, etc. The wall to the tiny kitchen was removed and new oak flooring was installed. The rest of the flooring was sanded and sealed to match. I can't recommend his company enough.

We love the outdoors but were tired of being eaten alive by mosquitoes whenever we went onto our patio. So we decided we needed a screened-in porch at the back of our house. Daniel designed and constructed a 16-by-16-foot addition of simple elegance. It's a clean, open space of blinding white, with Trex flooring, a ceiling fan and numerous outlets. The job required building over part of an existing flagstone patio and enlarging a kitchen window into a door. Daniel was responsive throughout. His team was careful and skilled. His price was very competitive with other quotes we received. We would not hesitate to use Daniel Krienbuehl Contractors again.

We are thrilled to be able to recommend Daniel Krienbuehl and his wonderful team (including Henry) for a large home renovation project that we finished in the fall of 2017. The project including bumping out the back of our house, relocating and building a new kitchen/family room area in the new space, a new screened porch, laundry room, bathroom and mud room. Daniel and his crew completed a large (567 sq. ft.) addition to my home last year. I'd previously done two smaller renovation projects with two other contractors, one of whom was good, the other mediocre. Daniel is in another league altogether -- the experience of working with him was fantastic. He's very knowledgable about good building practices and he is the consummate professional. He stuck to the proposed budget and calendar and there were no surprises. After the project was completed, he was very responsive to my questions regarding minor issues that came up.
