Debbie did a wonderful job renovating our townhouse - with relatively little guidance from us. It looks like a new place, and perfect for short term rentals. Everything, from lighting and painting to new furniture was excellent. Debbie 's experience from renovating dozens of units in Whistler really came through.

As a carpenter and handyman, I’ve worked closely with Debbie on many real estate and design projects. She has a strong understanding of how design decisions impact property value, marketability, and timing. Debbie is excellent with budgeting and scheduling, and she executes projects quickly and efficiently. She often has me price out upgrade options — such as painting kitchens from wood to white, bathroom updates, or exterior improvements — and then presents her clients with clear before-and-after visuals along with real costs. This allows sellers to plan strategically and invest where it makes the most sense. I’ve worked with her on painting and staging an entire condo prior to listing, as well as exterior prep on a large home, including painting railings, power washing, and general improvements. Because she is organized and decisive, I’m always happy to accommodate her when she calls — projects move smoothly and expectations are clear. Her ability to combine design expertise, accurate pricing, and real-world execution makes her extremely effective and sets her apart.

Good design is only possible when everything is organized on the back end — especially when I’m working remotely. With your project management, Rick, everything came together smoothly.

Working closely with suppliers and contractors, I ensured all selections were fully specified, ready to purchase, and delivered to site on time.

The regular check-ins and FaceTime reviews to confirm plumbing and electrical before everything was closed in made a huge difference in keeping the project running efficiently and avoiding issues down the line.

I appreciate the opportunity to design and oversee the project — it was a pleasure working on it with you — a truly elegant and timeless result.

Debbie Evans is imaginative, practical and insightful all at once. Our project was a fairly large home (5600sq ft) which finished construction in 2016. We had a fairly rigid list of likes and dislikes, of wants, needs and variables. Debbie was wonderful at organizing us, at clarifying and streamlining our needs and at focusing on the practical without taking out the fun. She can stick to a budget and work around challenging timelines wonderfully. She can interpret a vision in imaginative ways that merge beauty with functionality throughout a home.
