Excellent Company! One of the few companies that I dealt with during our addition project that paid great attention to detail in their products and maintained great customer service. I recently had bill wood from driwood design my basement project and can only say that the end result has been most satisfying. Bill flew in to my home on two occasions and he was a pleasure to work with. He not only has the ability to design but is also quite capable of the installation process. Our architectural firm has worked with Driwood Moulding Company on numerous projects over a thirty-year period. We can always count on Driwood to provide excellent shop drawings, fabrication and installation. The folks at Driwood have a wealth of knowledge about traditional moldings, and their vast portfolio of work speaks for itself. One project that stands out is the River Room at St. Paul's Church in Augusta, GA. Driwood beautifully fabricated paneling, casings, base molds, doors, and an elaborate cornice inspired by mouldings in the historic sanctuary designed by Henry Wendell in 1919. Complete with triglyphs, metopes and guttae this cornice by Driwood is the highlight of the River Room and is close to perfection in its execution.

Commented: what type of wood was used for the steps?Looks to be white ash or possibly white oak. I'm leaning more towards ash because of the color streaks and lack of rays though. Ash is very hard and durable so it is suitable for flooring.
