The project that EBCON Co. did for me wrapped up about a week ago. I thought they did an excellent job. The project was to design and build an ensuite addition to my house for my disabled sister, who will be moving in with me in a couple of months. I hired EBCON for the project as they had done my home remodel when I moved into my current house 10 years ago. I was very happy with that project and pleased that several of their key personnel and subcontractors were the same as for my previous project. The current project consisted of a bedroom/studio, bath, hallway/study, walk-through clothes closet, lots of storage space, and small outdoor patio with wheelchair ramp. As my sister is an artist and art teacher, we asked for a design that provided high walls for hanging her paintings and extra space in the bedroom/studio for her to paint and potentially teach a few students. The design process went very well. The designer worked constructively with us and made numerous trips to tile, stone, and carpet stores with us to select materials. We greatly appreciated the detailed plan skeches she generated, some of which showed my sister’s paintings up on the walls in her bedroom/studio! Challenges, including access to the addition through existing bedrooms and integrating the design with the existing house, were solved well. ADA guidelines for accessibility were strictly followed for the design and materials. We – and all our family and friends - love the design and how it has turned out. The construction work was very high quality – EBCON has very high standards for the work done on their projects, including for the smallest details. The EBCON team and the sub-contractors they brought in were great to work with through all the stages, including design, construction, and completion. In addition to weekly on-site progress meetings (which included the project manager, superintendent, designer, and often the head of the company), I was kept informed on a daily basis about what was happening and the timing for next steps. EBCON staff were always on site while work was being done, and they were always reachable for conversations. Overall we are very happy with the project. I would definitely use EBCON again were I to have another project, and I recommend them without reservation to anyone planning a large or small home construction or renovation project.

We have been very happy with Ebcon's Maintenance and Small Project services. The inspections each year are so critical to keeping our home safe and sound and the team has excellent follow up to take care of everything that comes up during the inspections. It gives us great peace of mind to know that we can call upon the Ebcon team to help us with just about any problem or issue that comes up. We are an age when getting up on ladders to fix or adjust things ourselves isn't very smart, and so having Ebcon available to us is critical.

I did an "everything but the office and guest bedroom" condo remodel with EBCON and I'm SO happy with the results. I had originally planned to just do my kitchen and bathrooms, but Manali and Amanda came up with creative ways to more effectively use the space, so we also reconfigured my bedroom and storage closets, plus some strategic changes in the living room and entry. At the start, I had no idea what kind of look I wanted, but after I showed Manali some pics that I didn't quite like, she asked a few clarifying questions and came up with the right search terms to bring up pictures that I did like! Then Amanda selected finishes that picked up on the shoji screens in my living room and my blue and white pottery collection. The result is a kitchen that I love, and which my friends say is both designer perfect and yet decidedly "me". I think my project came in within a week of the scheduled date, despite running into a few unexpected snags along the way. We also did very well on the budget. When we started planning, Amanda worked very hard to keep the finishes within my budget. EBCON is very much "no surprises" so once we started construction, every issue and change order was carefully explained to me so I always knew exactly where we were on the budget. Build quality is amazing, that's another thing that my guests have all been impressed with. Jose, the project supervisor, was wonderful to work with. He's got an amazing eye for detail and will troubleshoot and solve any problem that comes up. The project turned out better than I dreamed, and I highly recommend EBCON.

We recently completed a home renovation plus adding about 600sf with EBCON and are ecstatic with the results. They kept work on track through the various curveballs that renovating a 70-year-old house inevitably produced. Everyone we communicated with was thorough and timely in their responses, which made a stressful process much easier. Weekly meetings plus daily updates through their app kept us up-to-date on what was happening the entire time. Our finished product is much nicer than we had even hoped for and we’re very happy we chose EBCON to do the work.

We have had them do two jobs for us - the Earthquake bolting a few years ago and and in Fall 2023 a complete re-do of a failing basement retaining wall (our house is 110 years old). EBCON did an amazing job all around. The communication was fantastic and I always knew what to expect. Emily my project manager was constantly available by text and e-mail, as were Erik the owner and JT our construction manager. They did some creative thinking and were able to come up with a solution that (though it was more expensive) got the project done much faster - which made a huge difference. The crew cleaned up every day so there was minimal disruption to our daily lives. They even ‘adopted’ our dog as their on-site mascot - he seems a bit lonely and bored now that the crew isn’t coming around every day. Big thanks to everyone involved - we are thrilled with the results (and our basement is dry).

EBCON completed a full home remodel for us in 2022. Our experience was amazing! They worked with us to creatively develop a design that reached out goals and fit our budget. The designer worked closely with us to present a variety of options for appliances, finishes, flooring, lighting, and even furniture! EBCON only works with subcontractors that they trust and feel confident will uphold their high standards. There was a foreman onsite every day ensuring that construction was going to plan and being executed with the utmost attention to detail. Ebcon Hughes has done a number of projects for my husband and me. The first was a full remodel of two bathrooms, new flooring throughout the house, interior painting, and new kitchen cabinets. I was so pleased that I then had Ebcon do a full remodel of a third bathroom, remodel of an outdated laundry room, and creation of a pantry. Ebcon’s model is to “strive for perfection”, and they do exactly that. They worked with my husband and me to learn what we were after and why, and then came up with suggestions that were spot on. They have designers on staff who are great—with suggestions that perfectly captured what we were trying to achieve. All work and cost are explained in detail at the outset so there is full understanding of what will be done and how much it will cost. The office staff and construction workers are a joy to work with. All tasks are done on time and on budget; cleanliness and cleanup each day make the project as easy and non-disruptive to the homeowner as possible; all the workers are friendly and eager to answer any questions; they arrive each day exactly at the time promised and do great work. We liked how we were kept informed every step of the way about exactly what would be done and when. Ebcon is trustworthy, reliable, and honest. EBCON has done several projects for us: a complete window replacement of the entire house, building a pool and surrounding patios on a non-level yard, and a kitchen/family room refresh & remodel. We've been very happy with their professionalism and billing. We will be using them in the future to redo our bathrooms next year!

EBHCI designed and built our new kitchen, taking the closed galley style and opening up the space to create a large great room. The final product was exactly as in the design and renderings. EBHCI was responsive and professional on all levels. The budget was transparent and realistic and the use of technology throughout the project to track progress, confirm change orders, and pay invoices was outstanding. EBHCI's team was respectful and talented and kept us up to date in a weekly walkthrough. Highly recommend EBHCI and look forward to working with them on future projects.

We have used EBHCI for 2 major projects, one small one and countless minor jobs. They are the most service oriented, detail oriented and the cleanest contractors I have ever worked with. The customer service is at the highest level and they accept nothing less than perfection in the workmanship from their own people and their subs. EBHCI has the fastest response times - even in an emergency like a fallen tree and the neighbor's broken fence and carport that ensued. The neighbor even commented that they were the best contractor he had ever worked with! I have enjoyed working with EBHCI for over 9 years now. They make a difficult, potentially stressful event like remodeling as smooth as possible. The staff is friendly, efficient, and expert in their positions. I highly recommend this company for any and all home improvement projects, remodeling or new build.

We did an extensive remodel of a cottage with Erik, Clark, Caity, and the rest of the folks at Ebcon. Really can't say enough good things about this experience. The cottage was old and funky. We found some pretty strange stuff in there that required more work. Everyone at Ebcon came through great, solved problems, fair prices. Can't ask for much more. Based on that experience, we hired them to build a 200 sf workshop that had lots of unique zoning requirements and again, they came through with great work, solving problems that popped up along the way. They are all so, so easy to deal with. Never any conflicts about everything, worked with us eagerly on every issue that came up. They're great! We'd use them again in a second!

EBCON has done two major projects for me -- one a kitchen & exterior remodel, and one a master bath. Both were full gut & rebuild. I can't say enough good things about them -- they are extremely easy to work with, highly professional, very communicative and have a great design aesthetic. I love having the design/build combo in one firm -- Zuzana did beautiful designs and because they are fully integrated, there were never any issues building out what they designed, plus we were able to make tweaks along the way as we saw the need. They manage everything through an app so it's super easy to see their progress, the timeline and any change orders. They aren't the cheapest firm out there, but you get what you pay for and I'm the only person I know who would wholeheartedly recommend their contractor. 5 stars, no question.

We hired EBCHI for an extensive interior remodel of our house in Woodside based on a recommendation from a friend. From beginning to end, our experience with them was fantastic. They were professional, responsive, communicative and organized which contributed to the project being completed on time and as expected. The quality and craftsmanship of work was excellent and they did a great job guiding us throughout the process and educating us when making decisions. We would definitely hire EBCHI again for future projects.

We worked with EBHCI on a second story addition last year and were so extremely impressed by the process and the results, that it's no surprise that when we wanted to remodel our downstairs bathroom they were the first company we called. As expected, EBHCI hit it out of the park. They were super responsive, honest and upfront about our budget, and helped get us started on the design right away. We worked directly with Manali and Tyler and they were great! From the first site visit to the delivery of the final set of design plans, they were professional, detailed, friendly, and totally nailed our style. In addition, we recently had a baby and they were understanding and respectful of our time and needs. The design came out great, with some super cool things we didn't even think of! We needed to do a collection of rather disjoint projects: touching all over the house. New shower/tile, moving walls, making a window in one of the bedrooms (required cutting CMU wall and installing steel framing), Installing a fireplace insert in-place of existing non-functional wood one. Fixing hardwood floors in multiple rooms. Floating walls in bedrooms. Building a new closet etc. Clark (the project manager) and Erik (the owner) were extremely punctual, and provide a lot of information early on, from neatly generated budgets including all prices and detailed action items, to a builder's website, which included regular update upcoming work, and weekly notes. They also were very accommodating, since we were living in the house during the renovation. We are very happy with the workmanship, communication and the flexibility they've shown. We've changed the scope of work multiple times, (sometimes increased, sometimes decreased), they did their best to reimburse us for decreasing scope, and were very accommodating in taking care of increased scopes. Thanks!

The terrific team at Ebcon helped us with a major remodel of our home. From the very beginning they worked with us and our architect to design a home that reflected our vision while being conscious of overall costs. They were very clear and transparent about all costs involved and truly sought to minimize any surprises. They held weekly team meetings to keep us apprised of all progress but were always available in between to discuss anything and everything. Everyone on the team was incredibly knowledgeable about our progress and treated it with as much care as if it were their own house. They were all willing to come up with suggestions (like a lighted alcove for my daughter’s stuffed animals) and some great solutions that we could not have conceived of on our own. By the end of the project, the team felt like part of our family. The level of care and attention to detail was astounding. They understood the overall feel we wanted and helped us achieve it through design details and choosing all fixtures, etc. if they felt something was not perfect, even if we were willing to live with it, they would correct it even if it meant they absorbed the cost of redoing something. Despite the scope of our project becoming nearly a complete rebuild as a result of shoddy construction on our original structure, the team worked astonishingly fast. They started deconstruction in October and we moved back into the house the following July. They were knowledgeable about the myriad Palo Alto building codes and formed a trustees big relationship with the building inspectors through the quality of their work and continual compliance with the codes. Although we hope that we will never undertake another building project of this size, if we did, we would use Ebcon again in a heartbeat.

EBHCI and Alina Halloran Design worked together on an extensive contemporary kitchen remodel last year. Erik and his team were excellent to work with being collaborative, responsive to the client and a lot of fun. It was amazing to see the kitchen design come to life and look as beautiful and functional as the client had hoped.

Our project was completed six months ago, and my husband and I honestly still marvel daily over how awesome everything turned out; we still walk into the kitchen in the mornings and think “wow, I can’t believe we live here.” Choosing EBCON to renovate our home was one of the best choices we made. After buying our house, we wanted to make significant changes to the kitchen and bathrooms. Our goals were to brighten up the very dark kitchen, to open up space to accommodate an island, a larger range, and proper ventilation, and to modernize the three bathrooms. We also needed a bunch of other miscellaneous work done, such as making repairs to the foundation and removing a fireplace. My husband and I are full-time software engineers and parents to an energetic toddler. We’re also first-time owners of a single-family home. Although we initially researched directly hiring specific tradespeople (for instance, to modify cabinets or install a new countertop), we quickly realized that managing all the dependencies would be complicated, and we were worried that our lack of experience would lead to a costly mistake somewhere down the line. The tipping point was when we realized we would need permits from the City of Palo Alto. Time to call a professional! We chose to work with EBCON because we wanted someone experienced and trustworthy to guide us through the remodeling process. I’m a nit-picky person (for confirmation, ask anyone I’ve done code reviews for), so I wanted someone known for producing high-quality results who had a great eye for detail. Lastly, as working parents, we needed someone who was comfortable with doing a lot of communication and decision-making via email. Erik had great recommendations from several coworkers, and they all mentioned that while he wouldn’t give the lowest bid, what he charged was fair, and he explained all the costs up front -- no hidden surprises. Erik delivered all of that and more. Our project completed right on time and right on budget. It was about as stress-free as a project of this size can be. He gave us great advice and we appreciated that he took the time to educate us about our options and make us feel comfortable with every decision. Throughout the process, we emailed almost daily and met him on-site once a week to review progress. He often impressed us by pointing out areas that didn’t meet his high standards and were already being addressed. When he needed a decision from us, he was very clear in outlining the factors we should consider. And whenever we asked for something, his response was basically always “no problem, we’ll take care of it” -- at no extra charge. For example, we approved the location of our recessed lights during an in-person walkthrough, but changed our minds after the cabinet installation and painting. I would have expected us to be on the hook for a revision like that, but Erik was happy to do it because he agreed it would look better. The overall workmanship is incredible and it’s obvious that he, his site director, Roberto, and all the workers and subcontractors took great pride in making our home the best it could be. They even created a lovely photo book of the before-and-after of our remodel, and gifted us cutting boards made from the remnants of the stone for our countertops. EBCON’s long warranty shows that they stand by their work, and half a year after moving in, we haven’t had to call them back even once for repairs. Could we have gotten some of this work done for less money? It’s possible. We have to admit we had sticker shock when we saw the initial contract. But having heard horror stories from other friends (and even our designer) about their terrible experiences with other general contractors, we know we made a great decision going with EBCON. They took the stress out of the equation and made the project actually pretty fun. We were so happy with them that we later hired them again to remodel our condo! Needless to say, we can’t recommend them highly enough.

EBCON recently completed a high-end kitchen remodel job for us. The results far exceeded our expectations! I can't imagine having a better working relationship than what we had with EBCON and its subcontractors. As usual, there were a number of unexpected difficulties that we encountered during the project. I was pretty worried. But the EBCON folks worked thru them quickly and professionally and completely to our satisfaction. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone wanting a top-quality job. We will certainly use them for any future projects.

We have recently completed an extensive master bathroom and master bedroom remodel/renovation with EBCON Corporation. We have found them to be an outstanding high end contractor providing a high quality product. EBCON was efficient and responsive to our planning and design input and preferences and to our questions and concerns, the work of their in-house staff of high calibre, the subcontractors working with them outstanding in their skill subspecialties and the support and design suggestions offered by their staff exceptional and responsive to our ideas, desires and input. Our project was completed by EBCON essentially on time and on budget. We would recommend an association with EBCON without reservation or hesitation.

EBCON Review When I was searching for a general contractor for the remodel of my new home, EBCON’s detailed descriptions of their services and their emphasis on quality workmanship and client satisfaction made my choice easy. This was a 1961 ranch house with its original kitchen and bathrooms, all in need of modernization. I wanted to open up the dark and closed-in kitchen to the dining room and increase the light and sense of space. The master bathroom needed to be enlarged, the guest bathroom needed improvement, and I wanted to add a walk-in closet to the master bedroom and remodel the outdated brick fireplace. The project also included new windows and doors throughout, refinishing the hardwood floors, painting inside and out, new roof, and redoing the driveway, front walks, and back patio. I wanted the house to be fully accessible, inside and out. Working in close consultation with me, EBCON developed terrific designs for the kitchen, bathrooms, walk-in closet, fireplace, and outdoor hardscape, and then selected top quality materials for all parts of the project. Impressively, EBCON kept the project to the schedule and budget that had been set at the beginning. They lined up their subcontractors to do their parts of the project at the appropriate time and it worked like clockwork - there was essentially no down time. The workmanship of EBCON’s subcontractors was top notch. All of the EBCON staff – starting with owner Erik Bergstrom - and their subcontractors were wonderful to work with. The project designer and superintendent involved me in all aspects of the design and selection of materials, met with me regularly to update me on progress, and were always available to respond to questions. They were also flexible, willing to implement changes that I requested during the project, even if it meant changing the previously-set work schedule. Most importantly, they really cared that the work was done to the highest standard of quality and that I was happy with the way the project was progressing. EBCON’s decorator provided excellent assistance in the selection of window treatments, carpets, and furniture. The end result has been a remodeled house, just completed, that I love and that has received compliments from all who have visited. I am delighted to recommend EBCON to anyone planning large or small remodels. You will have a wonderful experience with EBCON’s staff and will be very pleased with your remodeled house.

Hughes construction Co is a great organization. Erik is a gem of a GM and almost all of his workers were superb. They completely rebuilt my home from the ground up, including a brand new basement. The work was exceptional and they finished almost on time. I could n not recommend Hughes more highly.

Being a Realtor for 12 years in the Bay Area, I've been through plenty of new builds and remodels with my clients. Recently when one of my clients, a very busy Stanford Professor, purchased a home which needed work, we knew it would not be wise for her to travel the traditional route of hiring contractors, subs, engineers, architects, designers etc given her tight timeline and overwhelming schedule. We knew a design/build company would work best. After interviewing Catherine, we were extremely impressed with her deep knowledge of codes (even the obscure ones), construction management, the way she partners with the owner, and the realistic timelines and budget she proposed. The fact that Ebcon was a "one stop shop" was a huge stress relief for my client. The entire process went beautifully from plans to permitting to construction and clean up - the client could not be happier with the results. Most important, Ebcon and Catherine listened and really got to know the client and nothing about the project was cookie cutter. I offer Ebcon my highest recommendation and they are on my speed dial for any future projects for clients.

We hired Erik and his group for a major renovation that unified four rooms constituting one wing of our house, including dining and kitchen. Major structural work was required, and we went for the highest end in the quality of appliances, cabinetry, counters ... the works. So a big project! We could not be more pleased with the results. Erik had a web site devoted to tracking our project's progress, and held weekly meetings to review status. Our target was to move back in after 3 months, and there was a one week slip due to unforeseeable complications. One week off in the 3 month estimate, so I was impressed. Erik went the extra mile on a number of occasions. For example, when a manufacturer's installation instructions turned out to a give poor result, he found a way to make it flawlessly beautiful by hiring a custom stainless steel designer/metal worker. When we said that the door we wanted had a certain property that turned out only to be available in a Swiss made product, he sent off to Switzerland to have it shipped. And on and on. This project looks great, and wows our family and friends. But beyond even this, it has changed our lives now that we can accommodates both formal and informal interaction.and collaboration at almost any scale. We have a space that simply makes people happy! Even though satisfied with the results, many homeowners seem to look back on their expensive remodel experience with a sizable dose of bitterness and regret. My advise: don't mess around. Find friendly, responsive, organized, timely team who will do the best for you. We highly recommend EBCON.

I worked with the team at Hughes Construction one various projects from large to small over a nine year period and would recommend them highly. Erik Hughes hand picks his team of skill professionals and never forgets that he is working in your home. He is a born problem solver and approaches each project with energy and enthusiasm. He works well with architects, lighting consultants etc. and has his own team of excellent staff and subcontractors.

Hughes Construction provided a high standard of care to our project. They thoroughly review the drawings and coordinate well with the architect and consultants. The Hughes team provides good follow through and attention to detail. Erik has fine-quality subcontractors, and is committed to producing the correct result rather than what's faster or easier, yet he holds tightly to the construction schedule. He is very in-tune with client needs and is a good communicator - even when the issue is sensitive.

Hughes Construction renovated our house and did a great job. They were easy to work with, did what they said they were going to do, and kept to our cost and deadline agreement. They had a good sense of design and helped us with decisions and finding unique materials. They kept a clean job site and worked around our schedule. Since our renovation they have continued to be responsive and help with whatever we need. This is important to me. I want a relationship with a contractor not just someone who finishes the job and you can never get back for the small things that always come up. Hughes is all about service.

Ebcon construction is the best! I have done 4 design projects with them and they are always meeting their deadlines, have the most attention to detail, responsive within minutes and provide superior quality. All my interior design clients love them! The owner Erik Bergstrom is always involved in the project alongside his project manager. As an architect, I have worked with Hughes Construction since 2006. Whenever a client asks for a contractor recommendation, Hughes is the first on my recommendation list. I would use Hughes Construction for projects for my own home. They provide the same amount of service whether it is a small bathroom remodel or a new home. When working with clients on a tight budget, they try to find ways to cut cost while still keeping the design intact, instead of just reducing scope. Projects that we have worked on together, including construction of new homes and major additions, have stayed on time and on budget. If the schedule is going to be delayed, they let the client know well in advance, so there is no last minute surprise. I look forward to working with them again.

As a Designer working in the San Francisco Bay area for close to 17 years, I have worked with many contractors. Hughes Construction through all the economic up's and downs of the Bay area has remained consistent in his attention to customer service, quality of product and long term relationships with clients as well as other trade professionals. While many cut corners, reduced staff, or compromised on quality of product or service in some way, Hughes Construction has stayed true to what he originally set out to be, which is the last contractor you would ever need to hire.

Erik remodeled my garage and installed new hardwood floors on my newly purchased house, as well as fixing numerous small items around the house (filter in the kitchen, sticky doors, light fixtures in each room, etc). My family was out of the country for almost all of the 6 weeks over which the work took place, and Erik updated me regularly on the progress and took photos to show the work. In addition, he was very responsive over email to my questions and I never had any doubt that the work was going well. We've been in the house for a 2 months after the work is done, and we've only had a couple of very minor issues with the work and on each occasion, Erik sent someone over within a short time to fix the problems. I am very satisfied with the quality of the work done by Ebcon as well as the responsiveness before, during and after the work and highly recommend them.

What began a quest for assistance in addressing major repair work turned into a process of rebuilding the back of my house including my kitchen. After interviewing several other engineers, drainage experts and contractors, I chose EBCON because they could do it all including floor releveling. They were listed in the Diamond Certified directory. EBCON coordinated the civil engineering and recommended a designer who nailed every inch of my challenging space. I lived in my home during the process and they made me feel both safe and comfortable. EBCON's people are awesome. Erik's leadership and professionalism are exemplary. The schedule was on target as was the budget. I feel very lucky to have found them; a terrificly positive experience! I'm thrilled with the outcome.

Over the past seven years I've worked side by side with EBCON CORP as their Electrical Contractor. I work with many General Contractors, but have noticed that they are above and beyond the best at what they do. They're organized, have a professional team, follow a strict schedule, demand perfection, and are extremely fair. There are many five star reviews on Houzz, but Erik Bergstrom and his company EBCON truly deserve accolades beyond any mere star rating.. Erik did a major high end kitchen and bath remodel for us and refreshed and refurbished most of the other rooms in our 4000+ square foot home. Erik's company exceeded our expectations in every respect: The quality of his work and craftsmanship was impeccable. His attention to detail more than satisfied our very picky standards. He and his entire crew, as well as his subs, were uniformly polite, responsive and cooperative. The jobsite was always clean and neat. Erik is extremely well organized. He set what we thought was a very ambitious schedule for completing the work and we were quite surprised that he was able to stick to it to the day on a multi--month project. Based on our prior experiences with building and remodeling, we'd set aside a lot of time for interacting and checking up on the contractor's progress. But with Erik, things went so smoothly, that we can say without exaggeration that we could have gone on vacation and relied on emails or telephone for the few items that required our input. Nonetheless, Erik was always available and never out of touch: he was responsive and cooperative without hesitation. We can say about our experience with Erik something that we never though we could say about a project like ours: it was virtually worry- and hassle-free. There were a couple of times that Erik "corrected" items that we didn't see an issue with on his own initiative: they just didn't satisfy his own high standards. You don't see that often in this profession. Erik's personality and trust-inspiring demeanor also were evident in how well he worked with building inspectors and officials, and with how easily he was able to understand what we and our designer were expecting in the project. Erik is intelligent, professional and competent in everything he does. We're happy to recommend Erik and Ebcon without any reservation whatsoever.

Kitchen remodel, totally redone, new cabinets, countertops, appliances, flooring, ceiling, lighting, added full bath, added large multipurpose/family room and extended carport. All work was craftsman quality, on time, on budget, with friendly people, all of whom know their trade/craft. Erik runs a great job, always professional, honest, on time and provides the highest quality work for all jobs. After the remodel, we found ourselves living and spending most of our time in the remodeled area as it was the most comfortable space in the house. I love the kitchen and the island where most family interaction now takes place. I had four special requests in the remodel, one was a glass block shower, solar tubes, tiling in the kitchen that would include our own designed tiles, and a pull down bed in a closet in the family room so that the room could actually be used as a master suite. Erik came through on all my requests and within budget. We are very happy with the remodel and can't say enough about what a positive experience it was to work with him.

We have used Erik and EBCON to remodel our previous home and our current home. We would not choose any other contractor to use for our future projects. Erik is an extremely sharp and honest guy with a very trustworthy team, not to mention the great work they do. Erik is always very accommodating with the budget, timeline and is always responsive when we had questions. We always felt comfortable when he and his team were at our house and they always cleaned up the job site nicely when they were done. EBCON is the only way to go when choosing a contractor. Finding a contractor you trust and one that does great quality work seems harder than it should be. Fortunately we were recommended to Erik and Ebcon by a woman who was helping us think through some work we needed done on our home that included lighting, painting, plumbing and creating a new "man cave" in our basement. Erik and his team put a very personal touch and a high degree of care in their work which included weekly face to face meetings to review work and progress and discuss the inevitable changes or unexpected issues that pop up as work begins. Ebcon has repeatedly met and in some cases exceeded our needs and the high touch high communication has been great at identifying issues quickly and collaboratively resolving them. Since my wife and I lead busy lives, Erik has always found a way to pick times even super early in the morning to come by and have our regular updates and discussions.
