About Us

ECA was established in 2002 in Telluride, Colorado. Projects are fully developed in 3D modeling and shared with clients both locally and remotely over the internet. Business Philosophy: "Some sites are meant to be left to the care of Mother Nature. Others can be enhanced with the inspired collaboration between Owner, Architect, Contractor and Trades people where the combination of building and landscape becomes art and feels as natural as if the two were of the same beginning. Just as nature is timeless, so should the structure be."

Eric is a truly terrific and especially talented contemporary designer who establishes a highly collaborative framework with clients, Coupled with this outstanding design aesthetic is a tremendous attention to detail, an unyielding follow-through and well-organized business tools -- all of which resulted in the best design experience (and end product) imaginable.

We have owned a house in Telluride for 20 years and finally decided a year ago that the time had come to update it. We hired Eric to redesign the bathrooms and kitchen and make a small addition. The result is absolutely spectacular. Eric turned a very basic house built in the 80's into a comfortable and architecturally interesting space. Working with him was a pleasure. We had to do all of it long distance as well and he made the project work seamlessly from start to finish.

In my capacity as a Superintendent for Ranta Construction, I have worked on two different types of Residential Projects. One was High End new construction and one a remodel project. Both times communication between ECA and myself has been of the highest standard, attention to detail was excellent, the drawings were detailed and accurate respective to the project. I prefer to work on ECA projects because of the commitment both to the client and to the Builder.

Commented: where did you get the treads and how thick are they?Treads are all custom with oak boards culled for each tread to get a consistent look. Thickness determined by number of treads in each flight.
