Paniagua Construction has built a number of our projects (Elevation Architects) starting in 1998 with an interior remodel in Noe Valley in San Francisco and most recently, the full recreation and addition to a high-end Pacific Heights mansion. This project featured some very technically challenging elements including digging a new level under the existing house for a garage, a floating steel, wood and glass staircase, elevator and beautifully detailed cabinetry and stone finishes. As a trained architect, Eduardo Paniagua is quick to understand the drawings and often will help to evaluate the details for a simpler or better design. His craft is second to none and the best part is that he is so friendly, patient and easy to work with throughout the duration of the project even during those challenging moments that every project presents.

We initially interviewed three companies to perform a major renovation on our 1928 Corona Heights home. Choosing to go with Paniagua Construction was immediate. Eduardo impressed us with his expertise, ideas, and enthusiasm for our project. The job was large and complex, involving a complete demo and reconstruction of the back of the home, front steps (from sidewalk up to entrance on second level) and garage (including lowering the floor), adding an entirely new level, complete reconfiguration of the main floor -- new kitchen, fireplace, powder-room and staircase to third level. Dealing with the city of SF is not easy, but Eduardo handled everything and more. His team was professional and Eduardo made good on his promises and "owned" the quality of work. Of course, with any large job, there were many changes a long the way, and Eduardo rolled with it, creating additional plans and estimates, and working with us to achieve the most effective result given the allocated budget. We recommend Paniagua Construction without hesitation.

The renovation created an impressive master bathroom, a very servicable office with windows facing west for a view of sunsets on sunny days and a lovely master bedroom. Also a small heater in the attic covering all rooms on the second floor. It was a tough time to find a good contractor and we found one.

Paniagua Construction did a marvelous job turning a spare room into a guest room with en suite ADA bathroom. The workmanship and finish selection advice was exquisite. The crew was courteous, considerate and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during construction. We have recommended the company to friends and neighbors who have also been really pleased with their construction work and results.

We have worked with Eduardo on 3 separate houses over almost 20 years. He basically completely rebuilt our Pacific Heights house.
