With very specific design elements in mind, I asked Julie to emulate the grain of my white oak floors, but in a subtly darker shade - and guess what? That's exactly what I got! Julie was prompt, detailed, organized, and very professional -- and she remained within the agreed upon yet very reasonable estimate. “The landscape design of our newly built Atherton home relies on a large number of architecturally-designed solid concrete walls of varying lengths and heights. The walls were designed to have a particular look and finish. Unfortunately, two of the taller walls suffered cold joints and other defects and looked very unsightly. We tried a number of fixes but they didn’t fix the problem. It is at this point that Coral Colours came to the rescue! After fixing the unsightly cold joints and the other defects, they applied several coats of plaster and matched the color and appearance of the other walls. The repaired walls look like new. I highly recommend Coral Colours. They are artisans and on top of that very nice people to work with.”

“Dimension Painting recently painted several rooms in our house, including stripping 5 layers of wallpaper in one room. In 2014, Carlos first worked for us, with Dimension painting the entire exterior of our home in Lafayette. In both projects, a highly professional job from start to finish. Carlos impressed my from the moment he came out to review the scope of the project and put together his bid. He was very thorough, pointing out work that needed to be done that I was not aware of and that other painters who had come out, seemed to have missed. Carlos even had photos attached to the bid he emailed to me, showing the extra work he would be doing. So, it wasn't just talk during the bid stage, he actually committed to get these things done-- and he did them. And, during the exterior work, his crew discovered some dry rot that we had not been aware of. They replaced some siding in a seamless manner and at a reasonable cost. And, the corrective work his crew performed on a deteriorating arbor in our backyard was remarkable. The arbor is close to 30 years old, but now looks like new, We have lived in our home for 35+ years, so have had the exterior painted several times. None of the other painters took the same level of care, nor approached the job so thoroughly. For example, the crew took down all of your downspouts to paint them completely. In doing so, in several locations the siding behind the downspouts had never been painted previously. Our other painters had simply painted the downspouts in place. Now, the wood in those areas is fully protected. Both projects were extensive. The interior took 3 weeks and the exterior (with a 4 man crew) over two weeks to complete. More than half of this time was spent on prep work, rather than the painting itself. So, the final product looks much better than the prior work we'd had done, and I'm confident that it will last longer. And, no more problems with windows that haven't opened since the last time the house was painted. Both the 2014 and the 2016 project were completed on time and within budget. And, every day, at the end of their work, the work site was cleaned up and made neat. And, on both projects, the workers were polite-- and, as best we could tell, like Carlos, really nice guys. We have recommended Dimension Painting to several friends who have used them and all have been very pleased with their work.”

“Katie recently performed a magical transformation of my entire bedroom set, taking it from out-dated to WOW! From our first conversation to the end of the project, Katie was professional and friendly. Prior to our first meeting she asked me lots of questions about what I had and what I wanted. At our first meeting she had a professional portfolio of her work along with some ideas on her computer of what she thought might work for this project. She instantly "got" me and my decorating vibe (if it could even be called that) - colorful, a little quirky, and fun. She was able to translate through my hand-waving and obscure descriptions of what I thought I wanted to come up with a wonderful design and color combination; she listened to me even though I really didn't know how to describe the vision in my head. Two of the pieces went to her studio to be redone. I received step by step pictures along the way so I could see the progress. She even put up with my panicky "OMG do you think it's REALLY going to look good? Do you think we should make changes?" The last two (largest) pieces were fnished in my home with no fuss and no muss. The only way I could tell she had even been there during the day (while I was at work) was to see the progress made. I am beyond delighted with the finished product. This is a 25+ year old Thomasville bedroom set - very good quality. You cannot buy this kind of quality furniture anymore; it looks like a completely new, contemporary set now, while still maintaining the integrity of the style of the pieces. Katie absolutely delivered the vision I had. I wish I had more projects for Katie at my house!”

“We had Theo wallpaper a number of accent walls in our condo, and his work is amazing! Initially, he came over to our home to get a sense of the job ahead of him and to help assess whether we had enough wallpaper for the project. Then in completing the work, he returned on a couple of different days and worked diligently and efficiently to get all of our desired walls covered. In terms of his work product, Theo is incredibly meticulous and thorough. He matches up the wallpaper design seams seamlessly and even uses a laser(!) in order to make sure things line up perfectly, You can tell he really thinks through a project before and as he's completing it, and as a result his finished product for our condo is stunning. His expertise at wallpaper hanging was readily apparent in the way he described the work he was doing and the quick pace at which he finished our project. And his rate for the work was quite reasonable, too. Finally, Theo was a decidedly pleasant professional to deal with. He reached out to me promptly about doing the project, he was easy to get a hold of, and he's just an all-around kind character with whom you'll enjoy chatting.
