A close friend recommended them 3 years ago, and though we got a competitive kitchen quote from the owner, Eric, life got in the way and we put it off. Fast forward to 2026, I reached out again. Not only did Eric remember us, but the updated quote was incredibly fair and much lower than we feared given inflation. We hired him immediately. The six week renovation was incredibly smooth. Eric kept us updated daily, handled any minor concerns instantly, and his crew was fantastic. My partner has wanted a new kitchen since 2016 and she’s absolutely thrilled with the gorgeous results.

We had a pretty incredible experience with Eric and his crew. After we called him about remodeling our house and guest house, he came by the very next day to take a look and give an estimate. He was honest about issues that came up along the way, and we worked together to solve them. He listened to the little things that I brought up and addressed them efficiently without ever seeming exasperated. He never cut corners, which was a very big deal. And the final product is fantastic. Will be using again for future projects.

We hired Eric West (EWC) through Houzz Pro for a 2-story ADU project in Gardena after reviewing multiple contractors. He presented himself as licensed, insured, and experienced, and his pricing appeared competitive. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing and financially damaging. The total contract was $237,000. To date, we have paid $130,000, yet less than 10% of the work has been completed. From early on, there were serious red flags. The contractor requested large payments ahead of schedule, including $50,000 before Phase 1 work was completed and later demanded an additional $65,000 despite the project not progressing as agreed. These requests were not consistent with the contract terms. Work began minimally and then stalled. After partial plumbing work and demolition of existing concrete, the project required revised plans, which were approved by the city. However, progress never meaningfully resumed. Communication became increasingly inconsistent, and repeated requests for a clear project schedule were ignored. The most concerning issue arose when the contractor admitted that subcontractors had withdrawn due to bounced checks. This raised serious concerns about how project funds were being handled. The last work on our project occurred in February 2026. Since then, the project has been completely abandoned. Despite numerous calls, messages, and formal written demands, the contractor has failed to respond or return to complete the work. We also discovered that the listed business address appears to be a mail drop rather than an active office. As a result, our property has been left in an unusable condition, with unfinished plumbing blocking access to our driveway. This has caused significant hardship for our family, including safety concerns. We strongly advise anyone considering this contractor to proceed with extreme caution. Our experience involved significant financial loss, lack of accountability, and complete failure to fulfill contractual obligations.

From the first meeting he was upfront about costs and timeline which was a huge relief because I've heard so many horror stories about remodels dragging on for months. Eric's crew showed up every single day and kept things as clean as possible considering they were tearing out cabinets and ripping up flooring. When we changed our mind on the backsplash tile halfway through he didn't make us feel bad about it, just adjusted the quote and kept moving. The whole kitchen was done in about three weeks. Every time I walk in there now I can't believe it's the same room. We're already talking to Eric about doing the master bath next year.

Eric was great! He helped us in the beginning so the providing a free quote for us! After a month of decision making we decided to go with EWC for a kitchen remodel! The backsplash is by far my favorite everytime I’m cooking I feel like I’m in a new place! Appreciate the team here!
