Exterior Designs has done major landscaping at all four of my homes over the past 20 years and most recently this year they worked on the yard at my new house adding trees and replanting shrubs and small trees to correct for the loss of a large termite-damaged tree. As always Beverly Katz had innovative and creative ideas for new plantings and use of existing materials. The Exterior Design crew worked diligently to plant, replant and add hard scape. I highly recommend Exterior Designs.

What a great job Exterior Designs did on the paver work performed at our property in New Orleans. I utilized the company on two different occasions and the professionalism and timeliness of the work was exceptional. Beverly Katz is a consummate professional and was very receptive to our needs. I would highly recommend this company.

Beverly and her team are amazing. They work with the homeowner every step of the way during the project. I was able to give input on the types and colors of plants that I wanted. Beverly and the team communicate clearly throughout the project. It was so easy to work with them and my yard looks phenomenal. I would highly recommend her and her team for any project. We are tackling my backyard next!!

Beverly is great to work with. She took my wish list and put together a comprehensive, phased plan for drainage, irrigation, hardscaping, and landscaping. She coordinated all the contractors and the work progressed every bit as fast as weather would allow. My property has been transformed from a jungle to the gem of the neighborhood. I have nothing but praise.

Beverly designed a beautiful layout for the landscaping at my newly-built uptown home. I had spoken with a number of other landscaping companies, but wasn’t satisfied with their designs or approaches. Beverly was easy to work with and the work was done quickly, with very high quality plants and trees. The yard now looks terrific, adding significant value to the property for years to come. Beverly is not the least expensive, but the quality of the work shows through.

Beverly Katz and her wonderful team (Kay, Terry, Dale, Eddie, and the rest of the workers) turned our jungle of a backyard into a beautiful oasis. All involved were skilled, friendly, prompt, reliable, professional, and helpful. Beverly has also followed up numerous times with us after the project was completed, to make sure we were satisfied. We are so glad we went with Exterior Designs for our project!

Beverly Katz redesigned our courtyard, changing from brick to flagstone, making raised beds from the old bricks. She oversaw the removal of large trees, replacing them with more appropriate trees and plantings. She changed the footprint of some of the beds, making it more efficient. The drainage was done well, not easy with an existing pool to work around. All calls to address issues were returned very promptly.

Exterior Designs designed and installed my New Orleans courtyard this year. I contacted 3 companies to estimate the job and chose Beverly Katz. She was extremely thorough, creative and showed real heart in all her dealings with me, and the project. She loves what she does and it comes through her creative process. I needed a real professional who was reliable, inspiring and would follow through on upkeep and advice going forward. She was totally "on it". She was the perfect person for us and our garden is thriving. It is an oasis in the midst of a busy city and we "live" out there. Her team is extremely knowledgeable, something I find hard to get here, they have come every time I called and are well informed, kind and respectful. Sheelah B. Uptown New Orleans

Bev Katz of Exterior Designs is the best person to hire for your home beautification needs. My husband and I needed an estimate and consultation to improve our front and back yards. Exterior Designs was able to draft the most beautiful landscape design. The blueprint was exactly what my husband and I requested and the blueprint itself was extremely affordable. Once my husband and I have saved all the money to complete the project, we will definitely contact Exterior Designs to complete the job. I wouldn't trust another company with my home!

Exterior Designs was instrumental in providing a comfortable and inviting look to a new renovation that could otherwise have been very stark and cold. Their recommendations worked so well for a new pool area (they designed the pool too!) and it lasted me until I sold the house a couple of years ago. I never had to change a think after that initial planting of an entire yard's landscaping. Follow up was excellent and routine maintenance went smoothly.

Project was "landscape refurbishing". I hired this company to advise me on landscaping my front yard, which needed some "spiffing" up, but I didn't want to change the basic plan. Ms. Beverly and her two crew members went through my yard and gave me ideas, what plants I could use, and how I could incorporate what was already there. They cut back a lot of overgrown plants, giving them a nice shape, put in some black plastic curbing to delineate plantings around the house and created two separate islands with pavers where my flowering plants could proliferate but not take over. They cleaned up everything afterwards. It was very attractive and I was happy with it. I also appreciated the other ideas and plant information which I could then work with on my own.

Our backyard was a mess! After meeting with several landscape companies, we hired Exterior Designs because of the owner, Beverly Katz. She wasted no time setting an appointment to meet with us, and we were impressed with her passion for her work. She seemed to have a vision as soon as she saw our yard. She was very thorough in explaining exactly how the process worked, from having her talented architect draw up the plans to building and finally adding flora. I was impressed that Beverly was on site each day she had her team working, to be sure everything was going to plan. She is also very particular and if she didn't like something (even I didn't notice the little things she did) she had it redone. I would say that Exterior Designs is very professional and does gorgeous work. We are so glad we used them and would highly recommend them to anyone needing landscape work!

Beverly and her team provided a beautifully detailed landscape master plan for us to carry out for our new home. As most new homeowners, budget was a huge concern and she delivered a design that we could carried out in phases, which was a huge benefit for us. Her professionalism is second to none. Beverly's passion for landscape design radiates throughout all she does. She's very knowledgeable about drainage and uses different varieties in her design that do well in specific areas. For example, our backyard is in full sun and the plants she recommended have just flourished. I highly recommend Exterior Design.

Our back yard was in need of a complete makeover. With 3 small children, my husband and I had no space we could call our own. After interviewing a few landscape companies, we decided on Beverly Katz and Exterior Designs. Beverly truly has a gift when it comes to landscape design, and her passion for her work is obvious from the moment I met her. Exterior Designs was very professional and knowledgeable about all aspects of our project, which included building a pergola and wiring it for a ceiling fan. I like the idea that an architect draws up plans for all aspects of the project, down to the last details of flower placement. You really see what you are going to get before the work is done. Further, Beverly was on site each day to check on the work's progress, and is very particular about details (more so than I was!) She hires only the best for her landscape and carpentry team, and they are top performers in their industry! We are so happy with our new yard, which incorporates areas for both adults and children. Thank you, Exterior Designs!

Beverly and her assistant were very professional and always answered my calls and my questions. The man who installed all of my plants and beds was so wonderful. He did an amazing job. The drawings and design were much more than I ever hoped they would be. My yard is so beautiful. They took a blank, dead yard and transformed it into a lush cottage garden that I enjoy every single day.
