Fantastic Floor

Nightmare! We selected a wood flooring product locally and was given a good price but the salesperson seemed slimey and kept adding fees (delivery, credit card, etc) so we tried fantastic floors. Natalie won us over and though The Fantasic Floor price was higher, their service seemed better and I didn't get jerked around, so I thought. I asked where the wood was made and was told Indonesia. (It was made in China) I asked if it was oil or poly coated and told it was oil (it was poly coated.) The problem was with delivery. We were told it would be delivered in a few days and the the flooring was sent to a local transit company where it was loaded and unloaded on the truck for delivery on 4 different days. We were told to wait home for it! It got dropped off at a local transit warehouse and was eventually delivered and arrived with fork-lift damage and banged corners on numerous boards. Natalie just said no problem, cut off the ends and you have most of the board to use. She has no clue that you can't just cut off both damaged ends of a beveled board! She never apologized for the damaged product or the time wasted in waiting for delivery as promised by the shipper. This was handled very poorly overall. Also ordered some stair nose pieces and one was fine and the other (custom made) appears to have been poorly stained that didn't match and looked like the stain never soaked in. Overall, I would avoid this company!!

We were admittedly a bit hesitant to order thousands of dollars worth of engineered bamboo flooring online. After quite a bit of searching locally, we decided that it was worth the gamble. The price for the floor we wanted was literally thousands of dollars less at Fantastic Floor than our local dealers. The ordering process was very simple and well explained. Nathalie was able to hold our floor at the warehouse for a bit because of a delayed start date from our contractors. The floor was delivered on time and in good shape. There was one board with minor damage from the shippers, but no need to pursue any action. Fantastic Floors was willing to replace the box if we desired. After the flooring arrived, we had to add an additional order for some unexpected transitional strips. This was very easy to do over the phone and they arrived in a few days. Overall we had a great experience with Fantastic Floors. The floors look "fantastic", and we hope this review allays concerns for those who were in our position of reluctance ordering online.

Awesome company- very helpful and patient with me. They helped me to narrow down my choices and their pricing could not be beat and the quality was excellent. I was a bit worried buying online but The Fantastic Floor specializes in quality material NOT liquidation flooring. They delivered exactly what was promised, on time and offered the best customer service I have ever experienced. Definitely would recommend them!
