About Us

ASID Award Winning Designer. Fine Designed Interiors specializes in high end residential interiors, Kitchen and bath designs. We provide a vast diversity of knowledge, professionalism, expertise, design creativity, and attention to detail for each clients unique project. Laura has been providing Interior Design service and space planning solutions to southern California clients for over 23 years, with total industry experience exceeding 35 years. She is formally educated, and is a Certified Interior Designer, a Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer, and has successfully achieved the prestigious NCIDQ Certification. Memberships include National Kitchen & Bath Association, American Society of Interior Designers, and California Council for Interior Design Certification. Additional accolades include an ASID 2015 Gold Award for excellence in Interior Design for Master-Bath Design. She is a southern girl born and raised in Atlanta Georgia. She attended American Intercontinental University in Atlanta where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design. Laura’s career has developed and expanded in the Kitchen and Bath Industry. She has worked with several cabinet manufactures from startup to high end companies. She has held various positions including; Interior Designer, Senior Kitchen Designer, Project Design Manager and Manufactures Representative. Her corporate positions include; Design Director, Kitchen Bath Design Director, Showroom Operations Manager, and Vice President of Operations. Laura has given back to the industry in the form of apprenticeships and a mentoring program for students from the Mt. San Antonio College (Mt. SAC) located in Walnut, California. She has also taught at Mt. SAC College and Saddleback College in the Interior Design Program with the curriculum of the approved NKBA standards for the Kitchen and Bath Studio Design Classes. It is a tremendous blessing and privilege to be a part of enriching a clients home and promoting wealth of life and memories for years to come.

We worked together throughout the whole process. I was able to pick and choose the things that I liked and I did not like. I renovated 1.5 baths and a dressing area in 2015. After being abandoned by another designer I found Laura. She listened to my frustration and the ideas I had. She enhanced my ideas with her expert design ideas. She was also willing to work with a couple of contractors that I had for electrical and tile work. The end result were bathrooms and dressing area that I love, are very functional, and we both love the design. Laura gave me the right timing and costs for the project, and she worked well with the installers and my contractors. I hope I can work with her on future projects.

My job was not the easiest kitchen remodel due to structural issues with irregular walls, floors and plumbing constraints, and other challenges. However, Laura was there every step of the way assuring me that every challenge encountered due to structural was resolved in a timely decisive manner. Her fine eye for design and her meticulousness to detail created a beautiful kitchen that I have desired for a long long time. Laura designed our kitchen and entertainment center and did an amazing job! She is very talented and has great vision. Both the kitchen and the entertainment unit turned out great and we continue to get compliments on both! So of course when we bought a new house she was the one we called to help us with our next project of creating an entertainment unit. Laura is very personable and we also enjoy spending time with her while working on our projects!
