Disorganized on my project. Couldn’t make decisions. Not very original with their ideas. I think they are ok, maybe second or third tier. Not top tier by any means, but they work out if their house, so you can get a good deal because overhead is low. Thanks

Frank and Megan created a design that was modern, classy, and overall stunning. The huge windows allow for bright spaces and give us great views of outside. They stayed with us step by step throughout the construction process which made it a lot easier as they interfaced with the builder to make sure the design was executed well. We are every happy with the results and felt well supported along the way.

My wife and I bought a home in Austin, Texas that we knew that we would have to renovate. We had no idea how dramatic an improvement would result from our hiring Co(X)ist Studio. After seeing the condition of the home they asked us what we wanted to accomplish. When they showed us something like I had indicated that I wanted, they also showed us another concept that was much younger, more vibrant and frankly far superior to what we thought we wanted. They also gave us suggestions on redoing the kitchen and other areas of the other living space. They were incredibly attentive to our concerns from the beginning to the end. They changed the look and feel of the outside and not only did we love it, everyone who saw it loved it. We are so thrilled that we asked for their advice. Not only do we like the finished products that they produced, but when we had to sell our home 3 years later, the bank appraisal listed the property at about two and one half times what I had paid for it. We were blown away by how much the home's value increased. True, they also re-did the kitchen and dining area and suggested that we convert our garage into an office. We agreed not really knowing what a difference that it would make. I would never think of changing it back.. We ( Barb and I), couldn't wait to show our friends. Man, what a difference in not only looks but also functionality. Lastly, they were great at staying within the budget. We would recommend Co(X)ist studios to anyone doing residential expansion.

We hired Coxist to design a remodel and addition to our 1960s ranch home, working directly with Frank and Megan. They listened to our needs, worked with us to produce a beautiful, highly functional design, and paid lots of attention to find opportunities to control costs. They're up to date on design trends and incorporated them thoughtfully, but nothing they produced felt like it would date quickly--the work seemed timeless. Their aesthetic leans toward the modern, but not stark--very warm and friendly. And they did a great job of taking advantage of our wooded lot and blending interior and exterior living. We ended up with a shovel-ready design, but chose not to proceed because we lost our appetite for a 6+ month construction project. They sourced several contractors for us to interview, all of whom were excellent quality,--we even ended up using one of them for a different project with great results. The only thing we wish was different is for Coxist to have more availability outside of normal business hours. My wife and I are both working professionals so scheduling architect meetings between 9-5 was tough. But, we also very much respect Frank and Megan's choice to manage their working hours and might very well do the same if the roles were reversed. We would definitely recommend Coxist and would hire them ourselves again for future projects!

We loved working with co(X)ist Studio! They were incredibly creative, professional, and easy to work with. We had a rather large project with a limited budget and limited timeframe, and they jumped in with both feet and helped us pull off a space even greater than what we had imagined! I highly recommend them to you!

Frank and Megan designed two integral courtyard spaces for our townhome. The design process was first rate from start to finish. We received 3-D designs, color renderings, and detailed feedback and analysis of what would work for us in our budget. At the same time, we received an amazing modern design that added tremendous value to our home. The front entrance courtyard was a very attractive reason for buying the house, but the space designed by the previous owner was fairly ugly. It was full of bulky, unkept plants, no landscaping, cracked paths, and dirt. CoXist designed a modern space with decking, lighting, a space for bbq pit, water feature, and landscaping, all while keeping the whimsical Wysteria tree in the corner which brings an amazing flower in Spring and Summer. We get serious compliments for our front space all the time. The in door open court yard was pretty much the reason we purchased the house. Frank and Megan turned another bulky space into an amazing entertainment play space for our family. The tile was removed and artificial grass was installed. Frank and Megan knew we had a young child and designed the space as a center piece of our house that would be comfortable for family living. The artificial grass allows for our home to be kept nice, safe, and clean. Frank and Megan came up with several options on lighting and also designed a string lighting concept that lights up the courtyard beautifully at night. The best part of the design was the incorporation of a 'living bench,' that holds many succulents, as well as the wall planters holding more succulents. We couldn't be happier with the inside space and it makes for the center piece of our house. We would without hesitation recommend Co(X)ist studios.

I used Megan to put an addition on my home. It was time to expand our master suite upstairs and redo a bedroom/ bath downstairs. Our home was over thirty years old. We also wanted to add storage since we did not have a basement. Megan had a plan but was very open to our suggestions. She incorporated my personal style into the design. I can sit in my bedroom now and feel this room was made just for me. It is my favorite place to think and relax. Downstairs, the redesigned space offers comfort , beauty and much more storage space. Megan was timely, easy to talk to and reliable. She did what she said would do. She worked well with the contractor. Changes were made to fit my budget and the end product remained high quality. She worked hard to blend modern design with personal preference. I highly recommend her business.

We had known since purchasing our home that changes to the kitchen were needed, but decided to live with it for a while first to develop a better vision of how to improve the layout. After three years we were still scratching our heads, and starting to consider an addition to add more space. I'm so glad we turned the project over to co(X)ist studio! Megan and Frank really took this challenge and ran with it. They presented us with two plans for our combined kitchen/back deck renovation, one that expanded the square footage of the house and one that worked with the existing structure. Their creative reworking of the existing square footage ended up being the perfect choice. We saved a ton of money by not expanding, yet our kitchen feels twice as big as before and is absolutely beautiful. We love how they maximized the flow between our indoor and outdoor spaces, tripled our storage, and helped us choose stylish but practical finishes that fit within our budget and lifestyle. I had initially thought we would go with a design/build firm because it just seemed simpler for us, having never undertaken a major renovation before. But Megan and Frank made it so easy, by helping us select an amazing contractor and staying very hands-on throughout the build. I would not hesitate to recommend co(X)ist to anyone.

Co(X)ist wa a delight to work with from start to finish. Frank and Megan provided us with a clear process and timeline. They worked within our budget while providing options and possibilities that we hadn’t considered. They listened carefully to our needs, tastes and desires and helped us reimagine and rediscover our home! Our home now feels and lives bigger, it’s more open, light and usable - even though we didn’t add square footage to the home’s original footprint. They helped us vet bids and select our contractor and they provided the appropriate attention to detail and follow-through. All-in-all a great experience.
