Gil helped us out with our house renovation! I found his contact through an internal recommendations at work. It was built in the 1960s, and was touched up during the resale, but we wanted to update the flooring, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and the electrical wiring. I think what really set apart Gil from the others we talked to is the time he put into creating an itemized estimate. He was super patient in going through all the many questions I had since it was my first time doing a renovation like this, and broke things down really clearly. The project did take longer than expected with some surprises, but life is always full of surprises, and we appreciate how Gil handled bumps in the road. Overall, him and his team pay attention to the quality and details to get you in a home that you will enjoy living in! Communication was always really smooth, and had a positive experience working with him.

We worked with Gil and had a great experience. They did the structural work for our project, and everything went very smooth. The work followed the plans, and all inspections passed with no issues. They helped with the foundation, framing, and our bathroom addition. Everything came out just like we agreed. The team was easy to talk to and kept us updated the whole time. We always knew what was going on. We had no problems at all, and we are very happy with the results. We 100% recommend them for structural work, additions, or remodeling. Thanks

Working with Gil and his team on our kitchen remodel was a great experience. Gil was extremely communicative throughout the process and made things much easier by shortlisting high-quality options, which saved us from a lot of decision fatigue. We also really appreciated their patience and flexibility when we ran into delays with our HOA approval. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a team that is both efficient and easy to work with!

We hired Gil for a complete kitchen remodel. We are thrilled with the results. Gil was involved in the whole remodel process, coming along side his workers, and constantly communicating with us. Before the work began, he sent us a spreadsheet of when certain people would come to the house and what they would do. He is very organized. The project ended only one week after his expected end date, which is amazing. The workers were all kind, great at what they did, and they cleaned up before leaving. Would we recommend Gil? YES!

My son and I live in Long Beach Calif, while shopping at Costco in Signal Hill I stopped by the home improvement area and because my son was working on remodeling two bathroom and kitchen the salesman suggested that I call Bill up in Salinas Ca which I did. The two bathrooms and kitchen counters are complete and Bill was the one that I credit the excellent job. It was difficult to handle this being 300 miles away but Bill ability to get the job done for us.

We availed Finished Surfaces' services for remodeling the bathrooms in our townhome with Campbell City permit. Gil has an excellent team for complete home remodel. As part of this project, we separated our jack and jill bathroom, added a new commode, renewed the plumbing and changed the tiles on our bathroom walls and floors. All the folks in his team paid minute attention to details right from plumbing to tiling to painting. They exceeded our expectations in this project and we would recommend them for all kinds of remodeling services. Compared to other contractors, Gil provided us with a very reasonable quote and we are very impressed by the end result. He knows quite a few showrooms in the area and can help you get good discounts for the materials. We are extremely delighted to have worked with Gil and his team.

Very professional, easy to work with and always responded to emails and messages. It was a job well done. The plumber and electrician that Gil recommended were also very competent. We had some personal emergency which required travel and Gil and his team accommodated our scheduling needs. I would definitely recommend Gil and his team for any remodeling needs.

Gil and his team were very professional and friendly but more importantly they were excellent tradesmen and hard working, skilled professionals. Our project was finished on time, and the job site was left clean and locked up every day. I felt comfortable knowing our property was in good hands, and every question was answered almost immediately or within the same day it was asked. They went the extra mile when it came to all the little details and made sure our needs were met every step of the way. Remodels are never fun, but we know we were taken care of every step of the way and it cut down on our stress so much.
