We met the owner Bill at our property in late September of 2021. We walked the lot and he seemed to know what he was talking about and answered most questions we had. We decided to go with GJ to build our custom dream home. We were first told it would take 6 to 9 months after permits were pulled. We were told house would be finished the end of July And we were introduced to Bret the project manager. Was told he had 35 years experience and he had built multi million dollar houses. Bret lacked attention to detail, flat out lied constantly & was the worst communicator. Due to failures in their process GJ failed to give us exactly what we wanted. Many short cuts were taken and they fought us the whole way. We finally got the keys a year later and they still have several items to complete before house is 100 percent.

Our house project started with a drawing of the house I wanted and they turned it into reality. It was surreal stepping into the house I sketched the previous year and seeing it just as I had imagined it. There were no major issues to take care of when we did our final walkthrough and they were very quick about fixing any of the minor issues we picked out. Other companies we approached for our custom project were all cost plus builders and started out at much higher rates than G.J. Gardner. We also looked into a few other fixed cost builders for the project but they were either not willing to do a custom home or did not seem to have an understanding for the mountain home design we were trying to achieve. I don't think I will ever need another home, but if I did, I would go with G.J. Gardner again.

Wonderful team and company to work with. Excellent customer service on all levels. We had a ”high end” custom home in Boulder County and they worked with us on every component to fit our needs. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy a business relationship where there is seamless communications. I had a buyer that used GJ Gardner. I informed them that I wanted correspondence that we sent to the buyer sent to me as well so that I could follow the process. This they did. I never felt like a bother. They were always cordial and they worked well with my buyer. They were patient and worked to satisfy my client's want and needs. Given the opportunity I will highly reccommend them.

As a Realtor, excellent customer service is so important to me and my business. I have referred 2 clients to GJ Gardner and have received excellent customer service both times. My first experience resulted in a beautiful custom home that was built for my clients in Brighton. Most recently I am working with Kyle and Cliff in Westminster. They are very knowledgeable about their products, highly responsive in communicating with me and have provided excellent customer service to my clients. They recently took the time to visit my client's current home to get the feel for what features they like and insight into the home they are designing for them. I highly recommend GJ Gardner as an excellent builder of custom homes!

GJ built my 3rd custom home for me and did a phenomenal job. Attention to detail in construction was top notch. Bill and his team are highly recommended! They let me bring in my own plans for a main floor master -2 story and found me a lot to build it on. Overall the build took less time than the big chain builders and GJ let me make my custom changes. 5 stars all around. Stayed on budget to the dime!
