IT is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single family in possession of a good property must be in want of a house. However little known the feelings or views of said family may be on first entering such an endeavour, this truth is so well-fixed in the minds of the surrounding builders, that the family is considered as the rightful recipient of whatever house such builders might be inclined to provide. After interviewing many such builders, this family happened upon the acquaintance of one Mr. Gary Green of Valparaiso. Where other builders were delighted to construct the house THEY thought we should have, Gary and his associates were committed to building the house that WE thought we should have. Through a very deliberate, detailed, and interactive process, Gary and Barb took us through multiple iterations until we settled on the design that was (and still is) exactly right for our needs. Construction was equally meticulous, with Gary’s mastery of materials, techniques, and subcontractors apparent throughout the process. He was generous with his time and attention, and was flexible, collaborative, and gracious in making adjustments, thereby reflecting his dedication to delivering the best possible result. The post-construction process has been equally impressive, with multiple formal inspections to identify and fix those annoying but inevitable glitches that only reveal themselves weeks or months after occupying new construction. Gary and his associate Leila have been incredibly attentive to our needs, providing assistance at a point when other builders would have long since departed. The house G.L. Green and Associates constructed is now our home, and our attachment toward this home grows with each passing day. We are ever sensible of the warmest gratitude towards Gary and company who, having brought our dream home into existence, have been the purveyor of great pleasure and satisfaction in our lives. We hired Gary's team to build our beautiful home on the Indiana shores of Lake Michigan. The process went smoothly from the start! Construction quality was exceptional, the construction schedule was punctual and the lines of communication were always open. We had a very satisfying building experience and would highly recommend them to remodel or build your home.

My wife and I hired Gary to design build our dream home in 2013-2014. We interviewed other builders at the time and felt completely comfortable choosing Gary. This was our first home and therefore first home building opportunity. We were impressed by Gary's previous projects and wanted to trust him with our home. Gary had a solid design process and beautiful watercolor drawings that showed the potential of our future home. Gary managed a difficult project through the "polar vortex" on a hilly and wooded lot that presented many challenges. He was flexible with our needs and budget and aimed to satisfy my preferences for high end finishes. He has some terrific vendors and subs to work with as well. Our wood floors are amazing with wide planks as well as a sharp herringbone pattern in our custom built library. Our cabinets are terrific (the design process and quality) and the trim work (casing, coffered ceiling, etc...) is impeccable. Overall, Gary managed many complicating factors and succeeded in building us a terrific, beautiful home that we can live in the rest of our lives. You don't have to take just my word on the beauty of our home, ask many of my neighbors who compliment our home when I'm outside landscaping.

Our experience with Gary Green was excellent. We hired Gary to design and build a large and complex addition to the back of our home. Not only was the quality of the work superior, Gary was a please to work with. We recommend him highly.

We hired Gary Green to build our dream home. After a few interviews, he designed our house for us. We made a few tweaks to the plans, then we started construction. The house took nearly a year to finish. Gary and his 2 assistants walked us through every step of the process. They made it as stress-free as possible. Our house is more than 6000 sq feet, so there were 100's of decisions to be made. We actually had fun picking everything out because they guided us along the way. After we moved in, Gary returned to our house on a regular basis to address problems. He touched up several things that we didn't even consider to be an issue. He answers my text messages immediately to take care of anything I consider to be a problem. It has been 1.5 years since we moved in, and I am still able to text him if an issue comes up. He has not charged us a single penny since we moved in, and his workers have been back to our house at least a dozen times for small random things. Our house is incredibly well built. We haven't had any problem that I would consider more than minor.

Wagner homes is the premier builder in Northwest Indiana and they completely live up to their reputation. Gary Green is able to take any vision and turn it into a reality. He is easy to work with and will help solve any problems you may have along the way. It was an easy choice to pick Wagner homes when looking for a builder when quality counts.

Gary Green was hired to design and build our dream home which we have completely enjoyed for 18 years. The attention to detail and their recommendations to fulfill our wishes was great. Small things like suggesting to rotate the house slightly to gain better views and privacy proved correct. We've had no problems and have been able to consult them on various projects for the house which we then would have them complete quickly. In these many years we've been able to proudly entertain many people who consistently say how beautiful the home is. Raising 3 children here has proved just how livable a custom home can be when built with care by true professionals. Can only give our thanks and 5 stars to this company and their caring staff.
