Grand York Interiors was founded in 1983 by Pat and Mick Kunkowski, a wife-and-husband duo with a vision for an interiors showroom that featured not just a vast selection of materials and styles, but also genuine hospitality and extensive professional expertise. Now under new ownership, the recently rebranded Grand York features a newly reimagined, modern showroom and a refreshed vision for collaboration within the local design community. While our showroom may look different, the Kunkowski’s legacy lives on at Grand York by way of a talented design and installation team dedicated to the same unparalleled, personalized service clients have come to expect. Grand York Interiors is my go to place for me to complete my client's projects! Pat and Mick have been instrumental to my success as an interior designer. From fabric, carpet or wallpaper, they have everything I need to complete a project and I consult with them all of the time. Pat goes above and beyond to make sure every detail is addressed. Mick has helped me to design and execute built-ins for clients as well as plantation shutters. With the recent addition of their daughter Jenn, GYI has maintained a fresh, current feel with their offerings. Their customer service is amazing, I feel that they are such a great partner for my business.

The entire staff is super friendly and always willing to help! A great family run business that is organized and extremely patient. I have enjoyed working with the entire staff! Grand York interiors is by far the best place in Baltimore for window treatments, wallpaper, custom shades and blinds Etc. Pat, the owner is one of the nicest people in this business and she will do anything to help you decorate your home. If you never been to Grand York interiors plan a trip there today!

We love working with Grand York Interiors. They take as much time as needed to present fabrics to you, order memos, and help find the right wall covering or fabric for our projects. Visiting with Jen and Pat is always a pleasure and they present themselves so well as the front of house representatives for their company. You can put your full trust in these professionals!

I have known Pat and Mick for over 30 years. I am a contractor for them for re-upholstery and slipcovers.I pay them with a thank you note and a gift card to a favorite restaurant for Christmas. Their only interest is that I take care of their customer. Pat is very knowledgeable in the design business. I have witnessed first hand the time she spends with a customer with a 2 pillow job or a whole house of window coverings. I once saw Mick hanging wallpaper in a laundry room. He matched the pattern around a pipe by the washing machine so it matched the paper on the wall. I chuckled but that's how he does it. I appreciate that they are customer oriented and have integrity.

Pat and Mick, the owners, are experienced and easy to work with. Mick measured and installed shutters in a timely and competent manner. I have had Mike do some other complicated installations and he does professional work.
