Our company recently collaborated with Greenside Design Build to supply windows and doors for a luxury home project they completed last year in Hinsdale. The home was designed and built with floor to ceiling glass to maximize the beautiful lake views from the back of the house. Greenside selected Marvin doors, transoms and trapezoid windows to maximize natural light. Great design and quality are at the top of Mike Conneely’s list. Greenside made our house our dream home! Mike was very professional and knowledgeable about materials and design. He listened to our needs and created a design that was perfect for our family. Greenside did a fantastic job staying on budget and on our timetable. They were incredibly neat and easily reachable for questions. We have used Greenside for a kitchen remodel at our previous home and an entire home remodel at our current home. We would never use any other company, they are fantastic.

We recently used Greenside Design Build to build our new home. Mike and John were great to work with. We love our house. Building a new home is a long and time consuming process, but Greenside was always responsive, reliable and there to walk us through the process. Mike and John were proactive and thought of items we never would have discussed as novices to the process. More importantly, we trusted them, which is never an easy thing when it comes to contractors. We also thought that the subcontractors Greenside used were top notch, which is really important as there are many contractors involved in building a home. The cabinet makers were a highlight. We loved our designer, Kristin Clark, who helped us out with many of the selections. All the products used were high quality products. They don't take shortcuts and believe in doing things the right way. We would highly recommend using Greenside Design to build your home or any other project.

Outstanding experience for us custom building a home from start to finish with Greenside. Mike Conneely was pretty much everything we hoped for in a builder -- very patient, knowledgeable, thorough, and approachable. He had great ideas for us but never imposed anything we didn't want to do. He made great use of Houzz for helping us come up with design ideas. He was able to bring to fruition the image in our head we had of our 'dream home.' We were amazed when it was done that it turned out just the way we had hoped. He's also very trustworthy and honest; I noticed things that he would fix or change along the way without us having to ask if he didn't feel they were up to par, and he still kept us on budget (we closed for the purchase price we agreed to). Mike is also internet savvy, which helped save a lot of time and phone tag throughout. He was very accessible and always willing to accommodate our work schedules. And he was flexible, when we asked to use a few vendors that he does not normally work with. We would work with Greenside and Mike again in the future without hesitation.

Greenside built a three-story addition as well as provided interior renovations to existing portions of our 70-plus-year-old home. We came to Greenside via friends, and Mike (the co-owner) and his crew exceeded our already high expectations. Despite the fact that Mike had several other huge ($million plus) projects going on simultaneously, he gave our project the same level of attention and commitment that he did his larger projects. Having interviewed other custom builders during our bid process, we know that is a rare quality, and one that we greatly appreciated. We lived through the renovation and addition (rather than move out), and Mike worked hard to accommodate OUR schedule. He was incredibly responsive to even our smallest questions and concerns. Mike and his partner John are experts and honest professionals through and through. Mike brought so much to the table based on his experience and expertise--his insight and knowledge made a huge difference during every step of the process. We felt like it was a true collaboration. In the end, our home turned out even BETTER than we had imagined it could be--not to mention that the project was completed on time and on budget! I don't know many people who can say that their home construction project was a pleasant experience, but we can. We recommend Greenside for new construction, renovations, or additions with great enthusiasm! They will not disappoint!

Greenside gave me an estimate on rehabbing my kitchen, two bathrooms, floors and painting my entire house. First and foremost they did a wonderful job. Secondly, they completed the work on time and on budget, which is rare from what I hear. In fact, there were times they had to rein us back in to stay on budget. Highly recommend them.

All work is done well at high quality and seems to be done "right." The build was organized and the jobsite was clean. All the subs seemed pretty professional. As far as warranty work, they have made good on fixing little bits here and there.
