We placed our cottage remodel in the hands of Griggs and Company. It was more than just another project for us. It was a family cottage that was built in 1964 and there were many wonderful memories attached to the existing structure. Griggs and Company understood and appreciated the sentimentality of the project and that meant the world to us. Ken, Brad, and Dan are each gifted members of their team. We relied heavily on their expertise and could not be more pleased with the new addition. They are true craftsmen that are knowledgeable, trustworthy, creative, and reliable. Anastasiia Ovcharuk is also a part of the team. As I told her numerous times, I would not want to be involved in a project without her. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She responds in a timely manner and goes the extra mile to make sure things run smoothly. We end our project singing only the highest of praises for Griggs and Company and recommend them without reserve.

Our family has owned a beach cottage on the Outer Banks since 1987. The house desperately needed a total remodel. After interviewing numerous builders, we selected Griggs & Co. because they presented a clear and compelling vision of how we could transform and update our sanctuary. The project involved maximizing living area by opening up space. Four tiny bedrooms with two jack and Jill bathrooms would become three spacious master suites with three full bathrooms including double vanities. The remodeling started in March of 2020 right at the beginning of the Coronavirus. I would give the entire team high marks during this process. Meetings to select cabinetry, counter tops, lighting, flooring, hardware, appliances, and paint colors were all done via Zoom. They offered excellent choices for these items that all conformed to our budget. After doing extensive research of builders in the Outer Banks, we selected Griggs & Co. as our general contractor to oversee a total renovation (down to the studs) of our vacation home in Duck, NC. The renovation included a two-story addition, a new kitchen, 1 additional bedroom, 3 additional en suite bathrooms, an inground concrete pool, and all new decking, siding, and roof. Our house is amazing and we could not be more pleased. From our early meetings with Ken, Brad, and Anastasiia, to our final walk-through, everything was conducted in an extremely professional manner. We were provided monthly statements for expenses along with the invoices for every single charge. Whenever we had questions, we received immediate responses. Griggs & Co. demolished our porch rebuilding it as a family room, resided the exterior with several new windows replaced, replaced the roof and replaced our deck. Ken started with putting together estimates and timelines, and giving us a clear understanding of cost, timeline and what the project(s) would entail. Throughout the project Ken's team and any subs he used were professional and pleasant, and did fantastic quality work. Ken's eye for detail and design were greatly appreciated. We found if he made an observation or recommendation, it was due to his experience, and we needed to go with it. Griggs and Co built our home in 2003.Ken Griggs is always there to help w minor repairs.Recently they put a new fortified roof on. The quality of the workmanship is outstanding.The staff is always accessible and very professional.

Ken Griggs designed and built our vacation home in Southern Shores, North Carolina, and we could not be more pleased. They renovated three bathrooms. Easy to work with. Kelli has great ideas for design. They aren't cheap but you get what you pay for... I would definitely use them again for another renovation project.
