Scott did a great job understanding what we were looking for in our backyard redesign. He helped us work with some of the big items that were outdated - our pool and helped us figure out a way to update the look. His plans were great and really aided in great communication with our landscaping company.

Scott really understands his clients wants and needs. He designed a landscape that I installed. The clients were boasting about him the whole time we were working at their house. The plants he picked out were perfect. And the hardscaoe style was on point!

We hired Scott to design our full yard remodel and we are so happy with the results. He listened to our wishes and designed the perfect outdoor living space for our family. His ideas transformed our backyard into a peaceful paradise that we enjoy daily.

From the start, Scott understood our vision, made great recommendations and then was able to translate all of that into very detailed plans that were approved by our HOA. Living in Aviara (Carlsbad) and having a new landscape planning reviewer, I can tell you that it was no small matter to get those plans approved by the HOA. Scott patiently worked to resolve comments. The company that did the actual installation commented on how good the plans were. The end result was/is beautiful - even better than we expected and we are constantly getting compliments from neighbors and passerby's who have gone out of their way to comment on how nice it the yard looks. Scott was referred to us by a friend. We bought a new place and needed a landscape design for the HOA. We wanted a BBQ island, firepit, and putting green. Everything else we left up to Scott to design for us so that it would be low maintenance while satisfying all the requirements of our HOA. As we have a strict HOA, there were multiple design revisions and asks that went above and beyond your usual landscape design. Scott kept his cool the entire time and delivered all that the HOA requested, including monitoring the work of our landscape contractor to ensure that the work was to the design. Scott's easy to work with, reliable, and has great design ideas. Love that boulder wall!

Scott was able to design an amazing backyard for our new home. He met us and walked the backyard when it was all dirt. He took our very basic requirements and wish list and crafted a design which my wife and I loved. Each component (fire pit, overhand, patio, garden box) was perfect proportioned and everything was very well balanced in both its placement and size for our yard. Scott was extremely helpful and willing to work with the HOA guidelines required by our development and produced exactly the documentation needed for our project to get approved. Scott was easily reachable via phone and email during the design phase of our project. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a landscape architect.

Scott did a great job of designing my yard. He's easy to work with and completed the design promptly. He should have a show called Yard Rescue.

Working with Scott was a great professional experience. I debated about wanting to bring in a design group or just rely on my builder. Im very happy I found & used Scott. First & foremost he was very good: great ideas, able to implement them into a design, able to add logic of what will/wont work & steer toward what our budget was. Also he was & remains very responsive, on time & a pleasure to work with. Im happy I budgeted for his design & we even went further & had 3D color renderings created, which has ultimately helped me get better quotes from builders & finally exactly the design I wanted in the first place.
