I could not be happier with the work that Cheryl and team deliver. They have re-designed multiple bathrooms, kitchens, outdoor and indoor living areas at my homes. Her design aesthetic is exciting, fresh, clever, practical and simply beautiful. Cheryl creates dramatic and impressive plans appropriately suited to a home's architectural style. She's done this successfully at my modern home in the desert as well as my Spanish home along the coast, which are completely different. I'm still living with the results of her designs and each day I have a smile on my face when I use my kitchen or walk into one of the redesigned areas. Cheryl is a unique talent who has been, and continues to be, a lynchpin in remodeling projects. She has stepped-up mid-renovation, many times, to create solutions to unanticipated problems. She has great relationships with other tradespeople, and calls upon them when needed to get things done. But most importantly she's a wonderful person and has earned my trust over the years delivering award-winning results. I recommend her to family and friends, and they too are happy and impressed with her work. I feel very lucky to have found her. She is my go-to person for any and all remodels.

We just completed a “pandemic” remodel and expansion of our 1964 single story home. The ceilings in the great room and kitchen were raised, a bedroom, powder room and laundry room were added, and the main bedroom and bathroom were expanded. Hamilton-Gray Design and staff were a pleasure to work with. Cheryl listened carefully to our practical needs and responded with a beautiful design incorporating our inspirations and paid heed to our budget. She added many elements of pizzaz from her playbook of trades including a live edge table and custom banquette, refurbishment of the claw foot tub that has been in the house since the original owner, and a custom range hood. We love our home and couldn’t have done this without her.

She was our designer when we bought a 20 year old home that needed updating and her keen design eye made it our home. She truly spent time getting to know us and sought to understand our style. And last year we decided to embark on a kitchen remodel. Cheryl was the first person we called. She totally understood our vision and developed an amazing contemporary kitchen design. She has an amazing eye for details and knew just how to create a cooking - lovers kithcen. We decided to replace 2,500 sf of flooring with concrete and she created a one-of-a-kind pattern that we love. We have had so many compliments and we owe it all to Cheryl.

My husband and I love to cook so initially reached out Cheryl to help with a remodel of our kitchen. Subsequently, we decided to make this our "forever home" and therefore, the scope increased over time to include much of our home including selection of new furniture. Cheryl was amazing to work with, was extremely detailed and approached the project with a wonderful sense of the interface between design and function. She also integrated our "funky" but much loved existing pieces into the overall design. The end result is spectacular and we are looking forward to enjoying our new home for a very long time

We first saw Cheryl's work in a home we were considering buying. It was a couple of months later that we saw her featured in SD Home and Garden magazine. I was super happy that she had the bandwidth to take on our whole house. We found pictures on Houzz and other home sites. We used those photos in a power point and asked Cheryl if we could replicate the photos in our home. She said, "Yes, of course!" and 8 months later we moved back into our old/new home.. We LOVE waking up here everyday!!!

My sister found this team and I went to a design meeting with her and knew instantly I do not need to look any further for someone to work with me on my project. Cheryl and her team are beyond talented and were always prepared for the task at hand. We built our dream home from the ground up. Cheryl LISTENED to all of our desires and dreams and went above and beyond with enthusiasm to make our home a reality. She is professional and has a gifted eye for space planning, design and the perfect finish materials. Her drawings were accurate and no detail missed which made the building process as easy as it could possibly be. She was on time, organized and prepared for all meetings. Working with her was pleasure and I now consider her a friend. We will be forever grateful to have worked with Hamilton-Gray Design.

The best decision we made after deciding to renovate our kitchen was hiring Cheryl and her team. She really knows the specifics of what is necessary for a kitchen remodel and we cannot be more pleased with how it turned out. She listened to our needs and lifestyle and then delivered a beautiful finished product. She makes very detailed and thorough drawings for the contractors so that the install went flawlessly. Cheryl has an excellent eye and every finish she brought for consideration was high quality and honed to our style. I was so thankful to have Cheryl on this project, even though it went very smoothly, if the contractor had any questions he was able to call her and get her input which really took the pressure off of me. Because she knew all the ins and outs of the project, like how a change would effect the lighting or anything else, she was a critical piece in finishing this project quickly and without any issues arising. I will definitely hire Cheryl again for any other future remodels!

Cheryl Hamilton-Gray and her team provided excellent architectural and design services. Cheryl's attention to detail, knowledge, expertise, and experience are unmatched. I worked with other designers in the past. Never again will I use anyone other than Hamilton-Gray Designs. Even our contractors commented on how much easier their jobs were because of the detail in Cheryl's designs. We built an entire home from ground, up. Hamilton-Gray was integrally involved every step of the way. We were so thrilled with her design and architectural services, we commissioned Cheryl to assist my husband and me in selecting and ordering furnishings and fabrics for same - even my bedding and pillows!! Every step along the way Hamilton-Gray Designs exceeded our expectations!! Highly recommend. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Cheryl Hamilton Gray and her creative team have been instrumental in bringing life to my dream home. From our first meeting it was clear that she listened to the vision I had in mind. Her questions helped clarify what had previously been ideas. She took the photos and descriptions and provided several plan choices, then a detailed plan, which included technical drawings for the contractor and sub contractors to work from. Her knowledge of architecture, lighting, and design and her ability to complete the different phases in a timely way, helped contribute to the overall good experience of building this home. She always had several choices of style and cost, respecting my choices and offered wonderful surprises, to make certain areas of the home special. I highly recommend Cheryl and her team!

Cheryl and her team are the best! Not only is she great to work with, very responsive, creative, and highly professional, but she delivers a high-quality, complete product with attention to detail and budget. We did a lot of our own research on products, and Cheryl was accommodating but also willing to share her expertise and steer us in the right direction. The subcontractors we worked with, many of whom did not know Cheryl personally, all commented on how complete and clear her plans and directions were, and how easy they were to follow. We are already planning to work with her again on our next project.
