Scott Fulton (President) left corporate life in 2016 with a mission to improve the outcomes for a million successful adults by helping them live better home-based retirements. Making sure that our home is ready to support us in that journey is critically important. Scott is also President of the National Aging in Place Council and a member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Home Ideations started upscale remodeling in 2016. It quickly became apparent that age 50+ homeowners desperately needed a thought partner to guide them through the many questions on how to make upgrades that were functionally and aesthetically appealing to all ages. The possibilities are more than can be imagined and decisions can quickly be overwhelming. Since 2019 we've focused on livability design and consulting support to families and commercial clients. We help at the front end of the project, assisting with the key decisions that will direct clients to their best options and avoid making all too common mistakes. Our involvement typically involves helping explore multiple concepts and getting key design features down on paper. Our virtual design process enables us to easily serve clients in the United States, Canada, and across the globe. Our work centers on long-term solutions with lasting appeal to all ages. We have clever ways to design for potential future needs that improve accessibility if/when it's needed. That’s how livability shines and your investment results in sustained value. We are also the showroom dealer for Shiloh, Eclipse, and Aspect cabinetry, (all made-in-USA) for our central Virginia clients.
