Homer Oatman was the first person we hired after purchasing our beautiful seaside lot in the Strand at Dana Point, CA. Homer helped us decide on the builder ,but more importantly he designed a magnificent home for us.The views in nearly every room were maximized to allow us to view the ocean and we were able to use nearly all of our lot.The home was perfectly positioned on the property to enhance the views and the ocean breezes.The attention to detail on the exterior and inside the house was outstanding.We have built ten houses in various parts of the United States and Homer is one of the best architects that we have ever hired.He was always respectful in expressing his professional opinion and he always did his homework on the details that made our home unique but true to the architectural style we had selected.He and his equally talented wife,Laura,who is also an architect made an outstanding team that we can strongly recommend to anyone building a new home in California.

We worked with Homer on a French Provincial-esque beach home in The Strand. The architecture was amazing with some interesting and unique details such as a glass bottom pool and retractable wall that descends into a subterranean "room", and his attention to schedule and detail provided the perfect backdrop for us to design the interiors. The project turned out incredible! Our client is thrilled!
